buying is easy, maintaining it on the other hand

What I'd suggest as further improvements: get new interior trim lines around the air vents, airconditioning. And a new M sport steering wheel. Just makes the car a lot more modern I think.

This has nothing to do with the power but how is the navigation system? Is it outdated? Can it hold up with bmws newest navigation systems?

A true project car should be manual and also (I think) it's more fun to drive let alone the M shifter is just gorgeous..

Loved your video Martijn! The excitement in your voice is infectious! Love the engine mods you did and agree with you that a droning downpipe can get very tiresome so you were wise to get rid of it. The performance all the way from 100 to 270 kmh is mightily impressive. Keep the videos coming, Mate! I am having a ball watching them!

Pwg not hard to tune at all. The turbo itself smaller then ewg turbo. This is the reason pwg less powerfull. Also you should shift your gear earlier . You make your power untill 5500-5700 rpm and then it drops hardly.

I've an 535i F10 N55 (same engine as your m135i) with Mperformance Power Kit (326ps) and I hesitate to do a remap on my car to increase the power to 360ps, do you think the engine and the gearbox will still remain reliable ?
@Renault PetrolHead the N55 can keep 360ps without problem ?
Sechs Zylinder if you know the type of gearbox you have, you can check the maximum torque it can handle. If you have a manual 6 speed it is the ZF S6-45 (about 470NM). If you have the auto 6 speed it’s the ZH 6HP19 (400NM). If you have the auto 8 speed it’s the ZF 8HP45 (500NM). I have the 8 speed auto on my diesel which is tuned to 475NM for two months now without any issues.
@@CarlosSultana I have the zf8hp45 it's the same gearbox as this m135i
Sechs Zylinder according to Wikipedia that gearbox should handle 500 NM without any problems, so a little bit over shouldn’t be much of a problem I guess

Is this the X-Drive? I have read that the automatic gearbox only is good for 500Nm? I hope that is a lie, because I have the same car =)
stock car has around 450nm so ofc its false. These ZF8 are very good
@@fohatadri Yes but this iteration of the ZF8 (8HP45 Z?) should only be good for 500 Nm. Does anyone hav experience of going close to 600Nm with this gearbox?
