You were the reason I got the L35AFs lesser known cousin, the AD3 and now it's a staple of my rotation. Congratulations on 3 years and looking forward to many more
Congratulations on 3 amazing years Lucy and Lux. Proud to have been tagging along from the start. You guys have inspired so many over that time, many more years to come xx.
What a lovely return to the old photo walk days! I'm going to New York in a couple of weeks, and this has got me super stoked to shoot some film and be inspired. Congratulations!
I’ve been a fan of your social media career for a few years now, and I love to see you evolving professionally. This style of video is a winner! I’d watch a bunch of these with different cameras, neighborhoods, etc.
I bought one of these for my wife donkeys years ago. She lent it to my brother and it came back not working. The green light come on, but that is it. This camera has a pretty good lens, so its a shame that no one repairs these. The camera is still in as new condition. Good show, BTW.
Loved the video!❤You’ve inspired me to grab one of my Olympus Camedia digicams & go on a photo walk around my town and take some flash shots, I normally turn flash off but going to try get some of those super saturated flash shots! I’d love to see a photo walk with the Olympus MJU 1 or Minolta Explorer Freedom Zoom EX (amazing film camera!) or some of those vintage digicams too! Thanks for inspiring us all to be more creative!❤
your laugh always makes me smile. your photo walks have always been my favorite. just seeing what inspires you, and seeing all the sights (USA here) is so cool. i also don't really care about the 'gear' talk, the emotions that camera and photography give are way more interesting. I have been thinking lately about taking photos of the same thing, like your Park Lane apt. Mostly I just wonder: are photos of the same thing different? Not really a question in search of an answer, but something to contemplate. Anyway, I have enjoyed your channel almost from the start and you have inspired me with my own photographic journey. Thank you Lucy
I bought the Nikon L35AF last August and was my only film camera for 6 weeks in Europe shooting 28 rolls. Every frame advance or film rewind sounds like the camera is about to die. Each shot sounds like it’s the last. But nothing really wrong with the camera, it keeps grinding out (and I do mean grinding) photos. Only negative is outside of ISO I have no control over exposure.
Love the video color grading! I also tried the Nikon L35AF because of you! Great camera. I found so many of them at estate sales and thrift stores that I just sold them for profit and eventually just upgraded to a Nikon 35Ti 🤣
Hey Lucy Just got a new mint in the mail today off of EBay coming in from Japan. Put in a new set of Duracell batteries and a roll of film and snapped a few shots. Seems like the shutter is working properly and opening fast and slow to different lighting conditions. Film advance and rewind also seem ok. The only issue I am a bit paranoid about is that the post click advance sound seems a bit faint. Not sure if you have witnessed this before? Might be because the camera hasn’t been shot in a while or on a regular basis and needs to get warmed up :) Just wanted to ask and see if you are anyone you know might have faced a similar issue. Will take in the 10 shots I took to be developed and hopefully I’m just being overly anxious and everything works well.
Hi! I would love to see you use nikon f65 more! hahaha and i think we’re all here for the quality over quantity, and YOU have to enjoy making those videos :)) Greetings from Poland ❤️
I can’t believe I’ve been watching your channel that long. I can’t remember how I came across your channel. I still haven’t used any film yet. But I did donate a box of expired film to my local camera store. They are giving it away. I did buy a Nikon D700 that has a great look without it looking to digital"
Well thank you for watching for that long! I hope you get to try film on day but in saying that you have the best digi option with that Nikon d700! Nice 👍🏻
Congratulations on three years. Of course it had to be an L35AF + Ektar 100 video to mark the occasion. Still shooting much more digital myself these days - lately infrared with the Sony Cybershot F828 magnet hack to get the black skies and grass and leaves as white as snow. Looking forward to the next three years.
Such a good & fun camera, I love mine. I was watching Home Alone in the winter and it appears in the film! When Kevin is mis-counted at the beginning because a neighbour is rifling through the family's holiday belongings the neighbour fires off the L35AF 😂 I was like nahhh flash regen on it is never that quick 😂 Great photos 💪
I know the exact scene you are talking about and my partner and I said the same thing about the flash firing so quickly…haha how funny! Thanks for watching lovely. X
L35AF’s are notoriously loud advancing to the next frame. I feel lucky my second one I got off eBay almost sounds normal but that only makes me not want to use it as much afraid it’ll get louder. Haha!! But they’re a great camera.
Hello! The question is whether the L35 AF2 is reliable or not... By reliable I mean if it is durable or if it breaks easily, constantly or if it is difficult to repair and dies. What's your opinion about it? Thank you!!
Unfortunately I really don’t think anyone could reasonably recommend any vintage camera as being “reliable”. They all have massive potential to brick at any moment and it’s just something that comes with the territory of shooting film.
Thanks lovely, the song is made by my partner Lux, it’s on TH-cam called “Miami Radio Wave” he actually makes all the music on my channel thanks for watching ☺️
I love your photos from this video. Those colors! The L35af is my favorite p&s camera. I’m on my third one and when they break down I desperately attempt to repair them and keep them alive. Fantastic little machines. Thanks for this wonderful video. 😊

Congratulations on 3 fabulous years Lucy! It was such a nice treat to see a photo walk vid with the L35AF & Ektar. Looking forward to more of this🙂
Congrats on the 3 years Lucy ! Glad to see that you’re going back to this format, looking forward for more!
3 years flew by fast 😊

When life gives you Lumens, make Lumenade with a Nikon L35AF. 📸 😄
the colors in that photo of the red thingy behind the green fence and blue sky... just purchased some ektar before even finishing the video lol
Hell yeah!!! Hope you enjoy shooting it it’s my fav!

I bought this camera recently and I was influenced a lot by you using it, it is so amazing! I always enjoy your videos, beautiful work there!
Congratulations Lucy - I'd love more photo walks featuring distinctive signage - that really resonated with me from this video.
That is so lovely to hear, thank you 🙏🏻 I’ll definitely be adding to this collection of signage shots so will aim to do another one. Thank you! X
Congrats on your channel. Very interesting this one. My kind of photography this. Hadn't thougt of using the flash tough. Try it this weekend. Thanks.

Thank you so much! Ektar is the goat! Appreciate you watching thank you 🙏🏻
Congrats on the three years! I’m almost on my first year and it’s been fun so far. Also good to see you back with another video! 🍊
It’s a wild ride on YT! Good job on one year I think consistency is hard but really important on this platform
Congrats on 3 years on TH-cam, friend! xx
Congratulations on three years!!!
This was a great vid. Keep doing this in a once in a while fashion & I'll be a happy camper.
Congrats! You're doing great! I miss these photowalk videos.
More to come! Thanks for all your support over the years lovely x

I hope you make a video of the new Pentax 17

Thank you! My partner makes all the music for the channel! X
Love seeing your face
Thank you lovely lady! So happy to know you via the TH-cam space. Xx
Ha! Bought this camera for my parents and my wife's parents back in the day. It did take great photos with no effort.

hehe Ektar 100 was my first film and l35 was my first film camera when I started film photography
Really like the colors of your video
Thank you ☺️

I very love your video tone, miss Lumen. So analog 😍😍
Thank you! 🤗
@@LucyLumen you're welcome, miss Lumen 😊
I always loved all your photo content 😍
Where can we buy Ikigai's film holders made from recycled canisters?

One of the best cameras I’ve ever owned until it just stopped working one day with roll off film in it😢
Crushed it!
I really liked this! And an inspiration... Is there any way you can tell me the music just after 19:00?
