I don't think I realized until very recently... that It was actually a privilege growing up living next door to a guy who owned not only a yellow, but also a white Countach.
And not only was my bedroom window right next to where they were parked, but every single morning I would wake up to the loudest noise of him cold starting either his or several other people's Countach's that he worked on as a full time mechanic....out of his garage. That shit drove me crazy hearing those things at 6am on a Saturday morning.
I will admit, those days when I missed the bus in the morning and ended up nervously walking behind his car with what seemed like...6 foot wide rear tires at the time. To make my way up to his front door and ask if he could give me a ride to school.... were absolutely legendary.
I was so young and so used to seeing them everyday that I didn't really comprehend how awesome and not-so-normal it was to see 4 of these beautiful beasts all parked out front, much less getting to ride shotgun in a Countach going 90mph in our neighborhood at 6 years old....before he had to tame the wild horses down as we quickly got to that 20mph school zone.😂 Then I'll bet he probably regretted saying yes to those few rides to school after maneuvering that bright yellow Countach through the carpool line. Good times...

All new suspension and everything to give a solid mix of grip and comfort for touring. Body mostly original but with a slight different height (I liked it when it was actually raised a bit for rally, so it's basically a wannabe Lancia Stratos in terms of height and tire style). With some common complaints fixed, they're not bad little cars for what they offer for the price.
