There is a TON of great houses and camp spots along the road from garrahan going east, as a low level I set one up at a house with a lot of lumber and a greenhouse pre built.

The junkyard is my main camp location and I highly recommend it! You have a wood extractor and a junk extractor and as Tonik says it's safe in terms of getting attacked. I usually just lay down some prefabs and try to preserve the junkyard vibe, using my shelters for the high end customizations.
I actually really dig that first location! I've always wanted to do a little wasteland hut build without having to make one myself. Gonna probably head there actually - I'm in a build mood. Thanks for the wonderful video!! ❤
I have been looking for that 3rd location for years now, I saw it in another video a long while back, but could never remember it, thanks, T0nik. Much appreciation.
New F76 player here who just subscribed because of your two camp locations videos... love these pre-existing structures and really hope to see another video in this series! Thanks for sharing, T0nik. ✊
Some pre-existing structures allow a little bit of leeway when placing foundations near them. You can clip a small amount here but you have to plan ahead because it could interfere with placing walls. Just play with it - every spot is different so what you can do here probably won't work somewhere else.
Some good stuff (I have a junkyard camp)...but the best spot on any structure is on top of one of the Charleston skyscrapers. I feel like I am the only one to find it as I never have it interfered with except when someone has one of the Capital building bases. You aren't IN the structure like most of these in the video, but you can build on top of it...such as making it look like your base is the ruined (or I guess you can also do unruined) top floors of the building. Made a nice raider stronghold for my player.

With the second location be aware super mutants spawn at the collapsed church to the north (there is actually a quest inside that building if you jump in through the roof). I never really had them bother me unless I built something too tall that they can see. If it’s visible over the crest of the adjoining hill they will attack. One of them usually spawned with a minigun which made short work of any structure within his sight when I was camped there. Turrets did nothing to stop them because we all know enemies can snipe at your camp with pretty much any weapon it seems. My plane generator would get constantly destroyed with a sniping minigun. I would suggest any tall structures be built further south out of their line of sight. It’s a neat locale to build at and can be tricky but it’s very unique and as a bonus you can use the tower itself if your needing to run connectors and wiring 👍🏻
There’s a train junction station near watoga, i was able to make a train station to some degree only down side, constant enemy spawns but also a chance for a sloth to spawn if you want a good neighbor
i still dont understand all the changes. i am a huge FO 3& 4 fan. can i some how scrap stuff in the buildings after i set up camp in there? also why is it so hard to find plans/ blue prints. with every thing costing caps i cant buy all the plans for weapons and mods and camp stuff
Thank you! Can't wait for the new season. Hoping a roadmap or something at the xbox showcase as well! You plan on covering starfield on the channel? Just curious if you planned on playing it

That halloween house would be perfect if it wasnt for the two spawns inside it. Also that huge cabin shown in the first video has super mutants who shoot at your house outside of turret range. All the best spots have some kind of issue. Finally i find a house with a basement but its ruined.
That Spider House is terribly difficult to build in unfortunately. I tried a while back. I placed a radio on the porch & upon my return, it had moved, which honestly freaked me out 😂. Placing lighting was difficult, as was trying to place an oil lamp on the kitchen counter, that vanished up in to the roof, never to be seen again. I was attacked by 3 different enemies at the same time too. They were mutant, wolves & molemen, they were simulateneously attacking eachother & me. Cool location but difficult.
