How good are these guys? The fun & energy in this is infectious. This was done during quarantine so none of the guys were even together. The editing of this was great & was done in the Tik Tok style. Love all the guys parts, with Tim's rumbling bass underlying it all. And Adam's beatboxing is phenomenal as always including sea swells & castanets. Amazing how he increased the tempo from one song to another.
I think youll enjoy going down the rabbit hole. With the 5 guys, you have 2 basses, 2 baritones, 5 tenors and 5 beatboxers. Yes, they are all multifaceted, they all sing and beatbox (but to be fair, Adam Rupp, is the official beatboxer and founding member..its rumored he swallowed a drum kit as a baby). You'll get a ton of Home Fries subscribing if you keep playing Home Free.
I've been privileged to see them perform this in live concerts. It is just as good as this is. Tim's bass is fantastic and its become a favorite. My neighbors favorite too whether he agrees or not . 😂😂
Home Free has a way of sheering you up with the way they sing. It is just so upbeat and they so obviously have fun doing it that you can't help but be put into a better mood.
Home Free did this on their phones from home during the pandemic lockdown. VoicePlay is from Florida and you should check them out as Pirates in their cover of Hoist The Colors.
Sea shanties were work songs of sailors that helped to coordinate raising the sails or doing other tasks that required effort of many men to make it easier. Singing also made long days less tedious.
Pleased to hear you react to HF's Sea Shanty Medley. Excellent catching the waves hitting the ship sound. Sometimes it gets lost in all the incredible voices and visuals. It takes time to learn all their names and vocal magic. If you haven't done "Helplessly Hoping", I recommend. The true Home Fries will guide you through better than I.
Home Free is so good. This was during Covid so they got equipment and filmed themselves at home and sent it in to their producer. They put out a lot of content during Covid….that’s how I discovered them. The bass was done by Tim Foust (Capt. Jack Sparrow). He didn’t move much as he was standing in a boat! Chance, the first singer, is a huge fan of sea shanties so he brought the idea to the guys. Love this! Did you hear the beatboxer doing castanets in the last song?!! Amazing!😍
Nice reaction! One thing to notice is that every song beat is a little faster and faster as if you are on one of those tall ships from long ago or a pirate ship moving faster and faster on the ocean. Doing the Sea Shanty Medley is Adam Chance's idea for Home Free to make because Adam Chance loves Sea Shanty songs. Adam Chance is the first singer in the first song you see. I hope you get the chance to see Home Free live in concert! One piece of advice is WAIT UNTIL YOU KNOW THE HOME FREE BAND MEMBERS WELL before reacting to Home Free's song "May Day"! You will have a much better reaction because there are surprises you will notice with "May Day".. so react to other Home Free songs/videos until you feel you know the band more :) Keep it up.
A great idea from Chance who likes a lot of those Sea shanty songs and in my opinion really has the voice and appearance for them. It is made in quarantine period. Besides each having their great part in this medley, I really love the beatboxing with castanets sound! It was done in the TikTok style, which is why I regularly see / hear come by at the TikTok videos
I may be losing my mind, but I thought you had posted that the next Home Free was going to be "Take Me Home Country Roads". 🤷♀ Adam Rupp making the castanets sound (or in this case "castanots") is crazy good. Thanks Chadwick, that was fun. 😆 🍟
Chadwick......you must be a super rich guy to live in a condo like that with a view like that. Your monthly You Tube income must be thousands and thousands. Congrats bro!!!
Great reaction. Pick any song and you will fall in ❤️ even more!! Do something upbeat like Hillbilly Bone or Love Train. Awww, pick anything, you’ll love it.
Wasn't that fun? Who on earth would have thought to do castanets as a beatboxer? Their harmonies are always fantastic, the arrangements top notch. Find two photos of the line up, one with Chris Rupp and the other with Adam Chance (after mid-2016) and put the guys' names and voices on them so you can 'see' who each one is. It's good ot see you back, I will be watching for your next reactions.

Austin - in red

Adam - beatboxer in beige

"I literally don't know what this is going to be about." It's.....sea shanties. In a medley. It's in the title.

That’s awesome ! I was in Florida too!

Tim Foust (Jack Sparrow with a beer stein) does the very low notes. Has a 5 octave+ range..
Imagine what Tim's backyard neighbors must thought! There so few if any guys that can hit his notes, let alone with such drive!
HE IS AMAZING!
The "low note" is the bass singer. (Tim)

Another one of their great quarantine videos. Adam's castanets on the last song get me every time. How do you even do that?
yes he is sooo good!
This was filmed during the pandemic so they were all in their own homes, You should see. This live.

hahaha i’m not rich!! it’s just a week of vacation in the condo!
I would love to hear about your mission trip when you get back. 🙂
Great reaction. Pick any song and you will fall in ❤️ even more!! Do something upbeat like Hillbilly Bone or Love Train. Awww, pick anything, you’ll love it.

This was filmed during lockdown.
oh wow, & they still did it very well!

Some of Tim's notes are so low that you really can't hear them without headphones. I strongly suggest you get some for the best possible experience.
