Second place for sure! But wow, Monterey may not be the 2nd largest city, (Guadalajara), but it's probably the 2nd most expensive!

You missed the real luxury. Monterrey is NOT the richest city in Mexico. The richest city of all of Mexico and Latin America is San Pedro Garza García which is a suburb of Mty. It’s right next to it. Now those ARE luxury houses and condos. The richest people of all the county reside in the mountains of the most exclusive neighborhood called Chipinque. Grandiose Mansions!! 😍

Haha yes - we heard about that place! We just wanted to see stuff in our price range though!

@@TravelWTravis Got it! But you still could have walked around to see them lol and their luxury malls. I heard all the super luxury brands were “shocked” many years ago when they started setting shop there, as to how much they were selling.

Sand Pedro isn't considered part of Monterrey?? No one considers it not a part of the city area. Its not even big enough like Zapopan, and even Zapopan everyone considers part of Guadalajara.

I felt that the first one was overpriced as the bedrooms were small and the furniture was dated. The second one was on point. I love apartment tours. Thank y'all for sharing.

I lived in Monterrey as a kid in the summers. 12yrs old to 20. Currently trying to position myself to live there in the next two years so my daughter can go to school in Spanish before highschool.

Number two was NIIICEEE! Loved that couch! Wasn't a big fan of that industrial looking grey. Some of it looked like concrete and for other parts it looked more painted on or something. I would personally look up ways to affordably cover it up/ have it in my style for the time I'm there. Overall, I'm with David on apartment #2: The designer understood the assignment!!

Me, as a Monterrey resident, those apartments are overpriced! In fact, there are more neighborhoods near to and in Monterrey where you can get a 2 floor house with 2-3 bedrooms such as Cumbres, Contry (that's located in Guadalupe), Vista Hermosa, San Jerónimo, etc... That's the bad thing of being here, everything is expensive (at least for us, the locals).

It is an interesting video, however limitng the options to 2 towers (both of the same developer/complex) its a bit not too much, there´s a lot of apartments in the same area (downtown) which you guys can cover pretty interestingly

I've seen many foreign TH-camrs come to Monterrey where I understand there is not much to see for tourists and for some reason they explore the city as if it was Oaxaca or San Miguel de Allende, and this city's barrio antiguo or historic center is abandoned as you could see is not even tourist spot, however Mty city is different, you gotta rent a car and go all around Greater Monterrey or the Metropolitan area, you missed many important places, sadly that's the way Monterrey is.
