I’ve seen more of Monterrey in this video than others. Big beautiful city! Ive been visiting Tijuana a lot of times in the past year and it has more cons than pros. I’ll probably visit Monterrey next time I go on vacation. Does Monterrey have a red light district too just like Tijuana?
We don't have a red light district in Monterrey, there are areas where you can find strip clubs in the downtown but it's so dangerous to go, it's not recommended. If you are looking for clubs or bars we have plenty in Barrio Antiguo, Centrito Valle or Tec Zone.
@@osmaraguilar5501 Well not anymore, right?! Whatever happened to Club 45 or the Red Light Ghost Town? I’ve been to Tijuana’s red light district many times which is supposed to be the most dangerous part of town. Many strip clubs even around the United States are dangerous too so I’m not that concerned. Just gotta be careful.
@@derekbuxton6626 There are many strip clubs in the Downtown of Monterrey, for both, straight and homosexual people, also we have bars, restaurant bars, discotecs and etc. Most of them are in the downtown but there are many more arround the city.
Headed to Monterrey this January to explore. I'm there mainly to see the local producers of mezcal in Santiago and Arramberi, but excited to see the big city too!
The historical aspect of Monterrey is interesting but not grand...it was a small town historically compared to major cities like CDMX, Guadalajara, Queretaro and Pueblo. However, in the 20th century because it became a major industry town and today it's a financial hub as well. It is a very spread out city though, the skyscraper density is actually in the neighboring municipality of San Pedro.
I will go there next month for work and will possibly stay for two months. What weather can I expect on September - November? Is it cold? Do I need thick jackets?
Maybe, because between september and november the weather turns fresh and colder, so, maybe you will need them. January is the coldest month in Monterrey.
Best video to understand the city, absolutely great but for people that want to understand the lifestyle I would recommend watching domingueros video, he shows how “rich kids” how to party and to the clubs which are great here

It's interesting....as more and more cities in the U.S. fall into disrepair with trash and huge homeless encampments I've not seen this anywhere in Mexico except the border towns. Perhaps it would be interesting if you did a video on homelessness and poverty in Mexico?
Hi, I'm from Monterrey, we have a lot of homeless, if you go to the downtown you will see them. In fact, the downtown is not the best place in Monterey... If you have money go to San Pedro Area.
@@NoNamePerson98 always depends of the city, and population density, here in Monterrey we are like 7,000,000 it's a big city, the third largest city in Mexico, but, isn't as big as the third largest city en U.S. If you walk around Monterrey Centro, the downtown, you can see a lot of homeless, specially in Juarez, cuauhtémoc and Pino Suárez avenue, even in below the bridges they have some camps, with electricity. I work in the downtown, and I can count at least 30 homeless just in the streets around the office. But certainly, I don't know if that is a lot for U.S. standard, but sure is a lot for Mexico.
Last comment promise, Guadalajara is more like Chicago also because it is also located to the largest lake in Mexico, lake chapala, just how Chicago is located by one of the grewt lakes, lake Michigan.
I was in Monterrey in 2019 and I like it when it gets dark and the city has futuristic lighting, there are also many very large shopping centers. I think some giant buildings of futuristic design are needed in the mountains. What else can I say, there are very small houses, it's very hot in summer, a maximum of 48°, a sensation of 50°, the roads seem to have been set on fire and I've never been in winter but they say that everything freezes 🌬
I live here in Mty and yes, during the winter season (December to February) almost everything freezes, we can reach temperatures below zero but it's not all the season, it only happens in certain days/weeks.
@@ed.b.9361 Oh really? Great, here in Monterrey and throughout northern Mexico, we can reach those extreme temperatures below zero. For example, in February 2021 there was an arctic wave that left us without electricity for almost 3 days, it was horrible.

THE best Moment to visit monterrey is October
Nice video as always
Headed to Monterrey this January to explore. I'm there mainly to see the local producers of mezcal in Santiago and Arramberi, but excited to see the big city too!
Great video!
You make the best videos bro. Do you have a Tulum one?
Disfrute tu video..... mi día a día transcurre aquí en MTY...... todo el video me gusto. saludos......
Best video to understand the city, absolutely great but for people that want to understand the lifestyle I would recommend watching domingueros video, he shows how “rich kids” how to party and to the clubs which are great here
Wow, this city looks amazing
Top notch quality, respect
Love your videos. Going to Bogota tomorrow because of your videos.
Love your videos!
I visited when I was very young! y tengo familia there, so I would like to visit now as an adult and check out the sites and the street tacos. Que rico!!!
I'm from south Texas and I have some family from Monterrey but have never gotten to visit. I want to go one day! I'm curious about how it contrasts to a city like San Antonio or the valley. All have a similar climate I think.
I love your videos very much, and for several reasons. I must say your video did not showcase the various attractions Monterrey has to offer. Monterrey has many options for people to enjoy.
Regards from Texas
Your videos are so beautiful. The quality is amazing.
What camera do you use?
Hello Charlie. All the equipment I use is listed in the description box with links to buy them on Amazon
Excelente !!!! La información esta muy bien para los que queremos visitar!!!! Pero ni nos atrevemos por el miedo a lo desconocido!!!! Y la inseguridad. Pero tu video nos motivaron a visitar Mongomery 👋✅👍🏼Gracias

You're welcome, friend ✌🏻
My name is Mary Lou and I grew up in Monterrey Mexico
What a beautiful city! I love the mountains and architecture- very artisitc and looks like esthetics are prioritized. Looks clean too. Thank you for such an excellent images. Ive just subscribed as well 😊 One question for you or your other viewers, is Monterrey safe for solo female travelers? Im 55 so not in to bars or clubbing. More in to seeing the sights and museums etc. Appreciate any thoughts. Gracias!
Thank you 🙂 yes it’s safe. Specially if you are in San Pedro and Del Valle areas. If you go to the center make sure you go during the day and not at night. I always felt safe in Monterrey 😎
@@IsraelPlata Thank you! Honestly, I sent the video to friends and family - what a beautiful and clean city.
Is the second largest city of Mexico not the third largest my friend
Arriba nuevo leon carajo🇲🇽🔥
Amiga necesitamos hacer un viaje a Monterrey
Siiii pero mejor ven a CDMX a visitarme 🎉 I miss you
Amazing Monterrey city.
Monterrey city is going to explode in growth because of the new Tesla Gigafactory being constructed nearby Monterrey. They just started construction March 6th 2024.
I grew up here and it was very nice, here in the U.S. the schools are very different and there no high end vibes
Que interesante video
woooow 😮
Wow! Me gustaria conocer esa bella ciudad y encontrar alguna Iglesia Adventista alli!!! Saludos desde Toronto!!!
There are homeless but not so much as other cities
@@TheDarkSideOfYouSoul There’s homeless but not as much as in the US
@@NoNamePerson98 always depends of the city, and population density, here in Monterrey we are like 7,000,000 it's a big city, the third largest city in Mexico, but, isn't as big as the third largest city en U.S.

Monterrey is love... Take me back
Last comment promise, Guadalajara is more like Chicago also because it is also located to the largest lake in Mexico, lake chapala, just how Chicago is located by one of the grewt lakes, lake Michigan.
I'm actually thinking about moving to Monterrey.
The weather is very similar or equal here where I live like Monterrey. But we don't have temperatures under zero.

@@ed.b.9361 Oh really? Great, here in Monterrey and throughout northern Mexico, we can reach those extreme temperatures below zero. For example, in February 2021 there was an arctic wave that left us without electricity for almost 3 days, it was horrible.
@@JorgeSchz2004OH! Really yes, but the minimum temperature where I live has only reached three degrees but in summer the temperature can reach the 48°C
