Some shots from my recent trip to Ocean City Maryland. I will definitely be going back to film more next summer.
I mainly cover Jupiter Inlet and Boynton Inlet but want to travel to cover more interesting inlets and fishing tournaments. If you have any suggests please let me know.
All kinds of boats in Palm Beach County transiting one of the most dangerous inlets in Florida. I would say Boynton Inlet is just as if not more dangerous than Haulover Inlet, Jupiter Inlet, or Boca Inlet. At any given moment, the waves will get the best of unsavvy captains and send them home with a few learned lessons. These boats can get themselves in trouble easily if they don't use the correct speed and choose the right lines at these Rough Inlets. Some weekends there are more awesome boats going in and out its like a boat show. Forget watching boats at the Miami Boat Show, Ft Lauderdale Boat Show, or Palm Beach Boat Show and watch them here. Love to see my home town inlet being feature can’t even count how many times ive been in an out this inlet!
I’d like to see a video going out to the ocean from Cape Charles Va at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. We would go down for the week Cobia fishing the first week in July in our 35’ Maycraft. We haven’t had a full week fishing in the ocean yet, bcuz there’d be days we’d have to turn around bcuz of how rough it gets. Even the larger boats don’t get out!
Indian river inlet is crazier but good waves with this one

Been out thru this inlet many many times to the Canyons. We’ve seen some decent offshore vessels with inexperienced Captains have a hard time, yet we’ve seen some smaller vessels you’d think there’s just no way I’d be on that boat thru here and just get thru with absolutely no problem. Even fished the inlet at the entrance from bayside, and caught some nice fish. Of course not in the middle, but on the edges by the rocks out of traffic.

ive been through this inlet about a dozen times on a 32cc. not the best but definitely not the worst.

That sportsman was a 267oe. Tell by the ttop tubing. The 247oe is a new model and had the beefy D tubing for the upright support

One thing is pretty clear, many dont know how to use trim tabs.
Only fools play in the ocean will POND BOATS!! platoon boats should never be out in the ocean in my opinion
Doesn’t really matter the size or type of boat. It’s the Captain that knows his boat inside and out and knows what day to pick. Today’s pontoon boats are like pontoon boats from 10yrs ago. You could have the best offshore vessel, yet it wouldn’t matter with an uneducated Captain. Been thru this inlet on a variety of vessels out to the Canyons from a 21’ Robolo w/ twins to a 67’ Custom in different types of weather and many times I felt safer on the small to mid range boats. We would take my 16’ jon boat w/ a 25hp Mercury out 1-2 miles in the Gulf from Destin Fl fishing, and it was some of the best times I had fishing, lol!!
Where's all the footage from Labor Day weekend at Boynton inlet? I heard someone needed to be pulled out by ocean rescue.

I've debated doing this but I assume people just wanted to watch the boats and not hear me talk.
@@RoughInlets Maybe do both. I'd prefer to watch the boats, but am distracted by having to read. There are some YT channels that do the same video but ASMR.
The rating of the police boat should be 0; since it looks like a donut.
