Top performance from this dude. I'm a total novice about to paint my 27' sailboat by hand and this Total Boat product is definitely what I'm going to use. I'll post some results later. Thanks for the confidence hit...😊
I did run into issues using the same materials and colors in Florida at 90 + degrees, and after learning from my very expensive mistakes I can say this: Use as little brushable thinner as possible. The bubbles are solvent pops from trapped fumes trying to escape. Just like in the video, I tried with NO thinner at all (recommended in the can instructions) and had no bubbles or needed any tipping at all. Use only 220 between coats. I used 320 for the last coat thinking it would get even smoother (better is the enemy of good) and ended up with dry spots. Good luck.
Lifelong paint enthusiast with tips you probably already know- I'd nail some pieces of wood together in an upside down T and drill into that, to create a paint mixer. funnels = friends You seemed to have 0 problems with dripping, on the boat and floor, so I think you had a proper amount of paint in the roller. Kick ass work, hoping to keep learning from this channel.
Epoxy primer paints right over gel coat sandable in a day you can body work right over the epoxy and recoat up to 7 days after the poly is 1:1 with a 10 percent reducer lays down like glass

Thanks dude. Good advice 😊
Ive also used this product on my bass boat. I didn’t use the paint thinner- it’s dry heat here in Az. And it was beautiful smooth thick coverage. ❤
Awesome video and miss the show your shop rocks!
NICE! I hope the boat I'm about to paint looks as good.
How'd it go?

Every product is different
simple and perfect !👌
It dried with that nice finish?
Thank you!
Is this onto existing gelcoat?
No you must sand first.
Is this flowcoat?
No
Would love to know what primer and paint was used
They literally showed the cans.
You are correct. Must have missed that lol
Did you sand after the first coat? And why a six " roller? Why not a 9?
Do you think I could do the same thing on aluminum?
Doe's the top coat not not need to go through a filter before mixing.
Use automotive polyurethane way cheaper and comes out better epoxy 2k or sealer ,base coat binder coat and clear
What’s up, quick question what epoxy 2k primer do you recommend? And what brand paint will hold up best to south Florida weather
You gonna leave that hair, oh wait that’s on my phone. 😂😊
anyone ever done this to a bass boat?
You always have airbubbles😂 the trick is to listen to your paint. He wil tell you when you ready😅
You made this seem too easy lol
N❤
Sr you yard haw a no job I want your campani in the job
Seems cheap
