The builders kit comes with wheel weights and the metal gears in the transmission. I have a t-hunter with weights, and shocks, and I put injora tires on their wheels and it is MUCH better than stock (and stock was good anyway). You cannot go wrong for 120.

I have the original CR - 18 pickup truck and the CR - 24, and I love them, I've had them both for a few years now and always tell everyone that they run amazing and are a great value. Also they have the best stock tires (nice and sticky) I've ever got on an RTR mini truck! I'd like to add this van to my collection! Great video brother! 💯 🤜 🤛
I just purchased my Van @ 3am. I saw one of these vans, the orange one, doing a comp course. Loved the look of it, sooo, I just had to buy one. I have 2 TRX4M Broncos, love those as well. Looking to add a few upgrades to the van....

I pull the signal plug out, DONE... like in my LC 80, Mogrich, etc. And the issue with the body wheight, if you want a performer, take a lexan. If you wanna scaler, take the ABS.
I love this van. Very good crawler like the fcx24. Going to try to swap in a fcx24 2 speed tranny in to the rock van to give some wheel speed when needed
I put those exact same brass wheels on mine, it made a big difference, you would love it, I have a video of mine running in the snow with them if you're interested
I got the cr18 kratos for an entry level for my first rig but I'm still torn on the rock van or t-hunter Also appreciate putting an affordable product in your video for us guys just starting out or short of funds
I just bought one of these. It looks like they offer a lot of hop-up parts for it. They sell metal shocks for it. This might help to stop the bounce it seems to have. Thoughts?
They have brass weights available at fairRC and hobby plus they also have steel transmission gears,rock sliders etc Hobby plus are onto something in the micro crawlers
@@matthewwhitby5368 Ya I won the T-Hunter! First RC thing I’ve won! I put on the brass hexes, which helped, but removing the spare made a better improvement. I also bought the Rock Van with a $20 coupon from fair RC. Going to put some Treal wheels & LGRP tires on T-Hunter next. Have the oil shocks for both, haven’t installed them yet. I like ‘em a lot!

Wasn't interested in this one at release but it's really grown on me and looks very capable for the size - especially at the price.
I put those exact Injora wheels on mine, made a huge difference, you will love it
The Mog Trail Hunter is also cool and very cappabel!

Will the fcx24 max smasher gear box fit in this? Furitek makes a sick speed motor/motor mount combo that id love to drop in this.

Rock van out performs t hunter on the rocks but I LOVE the t hunter look and some better shocks/placement would help a lot

They also sell oil filled shocks and it eliminates the bounce
