@mwilliamshs she's so damn cute she broke the cuteness/precious meter. It pegged the needle and shattered the glass. The meter is blown. As a result, there's no proper way to measure her precious adorableness.
Kevin and Mook are really great examples of how people should treat each other in a relationship.
I hope they last forever. They are lucky to have each other.
I was just thinking about how lucky they are that they have such common interests, and they have such a good time working together as partners.

Calling each other stinky??? 😁. You're absolutely right, at least on camera (and I suspect off camera too because it doesn't seem forced at all) they get along, help each other out, and harass each other but take it in stride because they both know it's all in fun.

Hello Mook, first of all get well soon! And you don't have to apologise so often for an appendicitis! What many content makers don't know is that the real fans and subscribers have a lot of patience and always understand when the content maker has another life besides TH-cam. You're doing it just right and we're happy to wait for a new video, no matter when it comes.
Glad you're ok Mook. I had the same thing happen when I was in 4th grade. I was sick at school and everyone thought I was faking. After a couple days of being sick I went to the Dr and they rushed into emergency surgery. My appendix was about to burst. Luckily it didn't and everything went well. Glad yours did too. I remember the worst thing was coughing after the surgery. Hurt like hell.
Hopefully she had the revised surgery three small incisions instead of one large one. Had mine removed 19 years ago,now 51. Recovery was quick.

I'm 70 never had my appendix out. Either of my kids either.
@@craigwiess1656 Another vote for laparoscopy here. X mine had burst but, "wrapped" itself up & recover was optimal. Still suggest you give 6-8 months to let those muscles repair & then restrengthen them. Won't hurt to take it easy until Spring.

I really can’t explain my fascination with vehicle mechanics stuff like this. I’ve never been able to repair engines or anything. But you two are So entertaining and endearing.

That’s a nice Truck now. I heard the appendix is a storage place for Probiotics in case it all gets wiped out in the intestines the body will release some from storage.

1. Super cool to see how old tech (no computer crap) can be revived due to it's relative simplicity and continue to be useful. We had a '74 f150 w/inline six, I'd love to still have that. Bulletproof easy to maintain vehicle.
2. Jay Leno had to be hospitalized and nearly lost his eyesight messing with a distributor that was out of phase because he WASNT WEARING EYE PROTECTION and a fireball shot from the intake. I nearly did the same thing too many years ago. Mook wears her eyes when she's underneath, you should too when replacing/jackin around with the distributor.
Glad you're back Mook. I pray for your speedy recovery.

Glad to hear that you healed up just fine. You just can't keep a good mechanic down. Kudos to Kev for fixing the ignition turning hard issue. That is what they do, they get stiff, and the owner keeps forcing the lock cylinder over until they break that curved part of the ignition rack, which is what Ford called them. I have replaced tons of those things through the years. It would have eventually broke and stranded you somewhere.
Glad your appendix didn't kill you like it was wanting to. 😁😁 I love those old (Now I feel old saying that...) 90s F-150s. 😍

When you have anything that deals with a sticky lock cylinder; Tri Flow is your friend! Tri Flow contains Teflon and thus does not leave anything greasy behind that can start to dry up and bind hardware.
Mook, you have no reason to apologize to anyone when you've done nothing wrong. You had a medical issue and had to get it taken care of. Wishing you a speedy recovery, unlike what I am going through.

New tires are always a good thing but PLEASE do something with those frosted over headlights! Doubt you'll ever see this but they are cheap and being able to see is priceless.

That thing sounds beastly, even with the new exhaust. No apologies necessary for having the 'stink gland' removed -- prior to the surgery, that must have hurt like a real 'hecker' or so I've been told. Glad you came through it okay, keep on truckin.

Those 8th and 9th gen bench seats make the suspension pogo so much more noticeable. Especially when the butt/mile ratio adds up.
No TV pressure will cause the direct clutches to burn out immediately transmission will not blow up but you will definitely have to rebuild3rd gear The early units had a gromit that would fall apart when they got old I was a transmission builder for 30 years

My appendix checked out too. Honestly had no issues. Surgery was 9pm I was released 8am next morning. Back at my desk working by 2pm. Cut the grass the next afternoon. And two days later was changing a battery in a new junker I picked up.
Truck is running and sounds good, can't wait to see it on the road in summer vids

I wish you a full and speedy recovery, Mook. Apologies definitely not needed. Appendicitis is no joke and I'm very glad that you seem to be getting on the opposite side of it.
The -25 weather we have had here in Wyoming last couple days makes me really want you guys to do a "will it start" video with the Holley system when it is -20 or so. I would really like to see how it handles that extreme cold weather.

Hey mookand Kevin. I’ve got two things for you
1 I’m only a couple hours from you and don’t mind help trying to tune fuel and spark tables. I’ve done pretty well with my 302 ranger on my own along with my dads fox. I’ll leave that however you like. The Holley will only learn so much, so you won’t ever get the full potential without tuning. I can definitely help the super long cranks
Second. Do not be scared of the TV. Start with it preloaded like it was with the sonnax bracket. If you set it with no tension at idle, that’s too loose. The cable controls line pressure only. If you don’t have enough pressure, it slips. Too much line pressure, and it’s too harsh. Harsh won’t hurt it near like slippage as you know. Start firm, work it down.

if no one has mentioned it yet...the parts that tilt...include parts for the ignition that also tilt...they're most likely worn out...
if not that, the actual ignition switch in the column could be FUBAR as well
Mook....glad you're feeling better...you and Kevin are a lucky pair...blessed are those that share a bond like yours...take it easy...listen to your body...and try your best not to clench if you cough or sneeze...been there..done that :(
White lithium grease is a good choice. It’s what used in old disk drives that also do surface-on-surface movement and lasts decades.
This is a sick and good runing f150 glad you don't got oil leak problems
