You can see, how all of the lead singers have affected on Tuomas' songwriting. Tarja made basic work for NW with operatic voice, heavy songs with riffs. Anette brought some more melodic singing, so Tuomas use her voice to create more complex and maybe melodic songs. With Floor, Tuomas really can spread the limits, and I think he loves it and so does Floor. The whole band seems to reborn with new challenges. Beautiful songs, anyway and any era...
One of Nightwish best classic rock songs......reminds me very much of Rainbow - Kill the king.....ect ect......'with whips and chains, in the heat and the rains'.........Just shows Nightwish can just about play it all. Managed to get to see them a couple of months back at Birmingham - England. What a night.....completely lost it. I am a 62 year old accountant........

Yes Floor is hypnotic....she has that "special something" that words cannot explain. She reaches in to you beyond the physical. Nightwish as a collective are phenomenal and I can honestly say that I haven't disliked any of their compositions since I started listening 11 months ago having not heard of Nightwish or Floor until then. Hi Jynger Nightwish are not a band they are an experience! These are complex rhythms, melodies and suit Floor's vocal gymnastics perfectly. One continuous smile says it all! Stay safe.
All their US Canada shows are at venues between 1,000-3,000. Tuomas has said that he really enjoys the smaller, club-size shows, as well as the big festivals. The stage production isn’t quite the same, but they put everything into all of their performances. (I’d do that cruise if I could)

This is one of my favorites, but that list is quite long :) Loved your reaction, as always and you did an amazing job answering everybody after you told us about your Dad. It made that reaction very special. You're a sweetheart, Jynger! You're right about the smaller venues and also right about the big arenas. In Europe they mostly play the bigger arenas with all the pyros, fireworks and what have you. I did see a few of those shows and that's amazing as you can imagine. In the US they play the smaller, more intimate venues and then it's just a band with a simple lightshow and that's awesome too. Last May I came to the US specifically to see them in these smaller venues and saw them in NYC, Silver Spring and Chicago. Those shows were fantastic! In Chicago I was standing at the railing in front of Emppu, so much fun! I checked out that cruise and apart from the money I always get seasick and when I saw the pictures it was clear to me that I'm not the target audience for that cruise. Hopefully my next show will be in Antwerp, Belgium on 20 Nov.

I wasn't sure I'd enjoy a cruise either, it just didn't sound like my kind of thing. But after a week on the ship I never wanted to leave it. I cried the day we had to disembark and return to land. Mine was a truly magical experience, I encourage you to give it a try. Cruising with Nightwish would be out of this world.

Also always a pleasure to see a woman who stands six feet tall move as gracefully and femininely as she can, while at the same time still remaining utterly ladylike and classy. Hey Jynger! My wife and I have cruised several times, and I *highly* recommend the experience. In fact, we're going on our first "Shiprocked" metal cruise in January. That said, the "70000 tons if Metal" cruise with Nightwish leaves from near there, 2 days after ours ends, and we were *sorely* tempted to stay and go around again. (Ok, so probably not... hah) But if you're able, do consider it - cruising itself is awesome, and with Nightwish?? That's crazy. Rock onnn! 🤘😎👍

This was an incredible show . It was at the Ritz Theater there in Ybor City in Tampa beautiful old venue! I saw Nirvana, Type O Negative, Jane’s Addiction , DMB, NIN, The Killers there at The Ritz (just to name a few) but Nightwish was by far the best I’ve seen. I’m probably quite biased but I don’t think I’m wrong 😂 Edit: I believe the capacity is around 1200 in it’s current configuration.

Another lovely reaction. From the same tour as Wembley and Tampere so you can really see the contrast between their US shows and their European shows. Much smaller venues so more intimate but minimal stage production. This really demonstrates how much the band loves their fans. They could easily stick to doing just big shows elsewhere and make more money but bringing their music to all their fans live is more important to them. Saw them in May in Boston and even without the big stage production it was a magical experience.

I think she should do some more old After Forever and some Revamp but then again Tuomas said there will be some surprises in the next album it's going to be a little harder a little darker (they just started recording it BTW)... While I do agree, _Sahara_ shows that he was already waaay down that path by 2007 - it's pretty darn sophisticated in my book!

This was an incredible show . It was at the Ritz Theater there in Ybor City in Tampa beautiful old venue! I saw Nirvana, Type O Negative, Jane’s Addiction , DMB, NIN, The Killers there at The Ritz (just to name a few) but Nightwish was by far the best I’ve seen. I’m probably quite biased but I don’t think I’m wrong 😂
Edit: I believe the capacity is around 1200 in it’s current configuration.

Another lovely reaction. From the same tour as Wembley and Tampere so you can really see the contrast between their US shows and their European shows. Much smaller venues so more intimate but minimal stage production. This really demonstrates how much the band loves their fans. They could easily stick to doing just big shows elsewhere and make more money but bringing their music to all their fans live is more important to them. Saw them in May in Boston and even without the big stage production it was a magical experience.

I wouldn't be against her doing a duet with Sharon den Adel from Within Temptation or Amy Lee from Evanescence. I think she should do some more old After Forever and some Revamp but then again Tuomas said there will be some surprises in the next album it's going to be a little harder a little darker (they just started recording it BTW)...
