The one thing I'm sure of in my mind is that being gay is not a conscious choice/decision.

The crucial thing here is not HOW someone is gay, but how they are treated by the world around them and how they come to treat themselves. Heterosexuals make homosexuals. It is supremely cruel and un-Christian to punish people for something they were born with.

Why some people are Left handed? It just the way they are.

The gay part of me is the best part of me. It's the strongest, kindest part of me. It is the seat of love within me. May peace and love find you brother.

I tend to believe that God created homosexuals just like He created everyone else. Eunuchs is the term Jesus used in Matthew 19:12 when He brought up the issue of males who will not take a wife due to the fact that they are a natural eunuch, a man made eunuch, or a self made eunuch. Please note: eunuchs are not always castrated.

The really tough thing is when you are asexual. The attraction never happens. I just tell people it is like Jesus was.

Great video! Carlton Pearson often says we are spiritual, sexual, sensual, and social beings and that all aspects of our human experience must be expressed with equal respect. Spiritually, there are masculine and feminine energies.

Yes, I've accepted it that God gave me this life for a reason. After having settled with that, my life situations generally became clearer. This clarity is my source of a deeper kind of joy. My relationship with my significant others has become richer, wider, and again, deeper. Thank you for sharing your insights, your journey really.

Very simple yet at the same time profound. Thank you for your courage to express these thoughts.
I am of the opinion , why would we nurture anything other than what nature gave us.
I love the expression "Spiritual Homosexuals" , that's exactly what I feel I am.

Your words are really beautiful and wise. And I hope you keep on posting more vídeos like this, because many others will listen to you. I think it's so difficult to find a Christian who can speak so freely, and without passing any judgment. I find Peace in your words and wisdom! God bless you my friend! Carlos

With people like this I always wonder how they would think if they had had been brought up in an entirely non-religious environment. In Australia, young people who fully believe in the christian concept of a god like this, and guide their life by that belief, are comparatively rare.

  • @mrgregcat

You might be interested in reading the research/interviews conducted by Pepper Schwarz, university of Washington. What you come away with with is how extremely diverse the experience of gay, bi- and straight people is, how sometimes fluid it is. Also the Kinsey research is still valid.

He is doing really well, for what life gives him, and i hope he always takes it easy on himself. We may think the church represses him, but it protects him, too. The institution protects an innocence that the world destroys.

I’m not judging you, but all of the data is not in. Neuroscientist, Allen Schore’s research demonstrates that almost all, if not ALL, psychological disorders stem from early brain development. The prenatal and infant to toddler years is the critical time. Dr Nicolosi points out that while some parents may be very loving, this doesn’t inoculate them from unhealthy emotional and psychological issues of their own, which may involve dominance, favoritism, unintentional emotional neglect, etc.

Thank you and God bless you sir, for your openness, candor and sincerity in your video. You have really ministered to me. I can relate so much to you, and feel that you have a very deep understanding of this very complex and difficult issue. I made a personal vow of celibacy five years ago. This is where I am at right now. I know that same sex attraction in itself is not a sin- we don't choose to whom we are attracted, but we do have a choice in what we do with our desires. It's been a long, painful, and lonely road for me, even more so having grown up in the 60's 70's and 80's when the subject was so taboo and had to be kept hidden and suppressed. Pray for me. Thank you. -Dan

We have several stages when we develop sexually.were not assigned sex attraction at birth. If something interferes with the normal development in our mind it goes in a different direction. Not born gay ,

Im an ex gay myself !! I went threw the same things !! But i realised that same sex attraction was the sin i was born into !!! I was very lonely and depressed in the gay lifestyle its been 5 months giving my hole heart and brain up to God and ive never been so happy !!!! I personally do not belive you can be a gay christain !! Its an abomination to the lord and i keep praying every day for the lord to open my eyes and heart to find his true purpose for me on this earth !! God bless !!

The answer is in EPIGENETICS! We are NOT slaves to our genes. We have choices, and we can change how genes express themselves through epigenetic influences.

Why some ppl love committing murders? Why some ppl love raping women? Feeling are real, but action is in our control. The more you struggle for Allah the more He will give you in the next eternal life
