I was removing the door card to replace the interior locking mechanism for me this was a fairly easy process except for 2 things the screw under the arm rest was difficult to get to and much smaller sized phillips head than the others BTW the screw inside the actual lock was a torque and again small size head. The mechanism is held in place by two (again small size) torque screws. Apart from that great work boys.
awesome tanks guys going to attempt to do this because my inside drivers side door handle isnt operating properly and need to have a geezer whatsb going on. any chance of posting how to re attach the door cables.
No problem! We don't but there should be two screws on the inside of the door card that connect up to the door handle. They are near the top closest to the front inner side of the door card if it was on the door. Unscrew them and then you should be able to wiggle it free. Hope that makes sense 👍
