    IN THIS VIDEO:
    What are the best gaming glasses sold on amazon? I bought the top 3 gamer glasses of 2021 on Amazon. They are anti blue light glasses as well. The three glasses mentioned in this video are designed to block high levels of blue light, with the darker amber/orange glasses that can block near 85% of blue light. The yellow lenses can block around 65% of blue light. Also with these tints, it can increase the contrast of your screen to help with gaming. Dr. EyeGuy reviews these blue blocking gaming glasses and which ones are actually recommended. The generic exerscribe gaming glasses, Horus X gaming/computer glasses, and the gunnar gaming glasses will be reviewed. These glasses can be used for computer work, especially late at night, that can help you with your sleep cycle, circadian rhythm.

    I got my $3 Ali express ones and I quickly realized I hate wearing glasses lol but they kinda look cool, didn't tint anything color wise, and no reflection issue. Only complaint I would have is comfort especially while wearing my steel series headphones. I am no eye guy tho so there is a chance they aren't doing much blue light wise but they definitely reduce the intensity of the brightness.

    Gamma Ray Optics for me. Have tried Gunnar, Uvex, Tijn, Horus, KLIM and gaming glasses. Gamma Ray shows multicolored refracted light, purple, yellow filters when angled against a light source. The layman's impression I got from this is that light from the monitor is neutralized by this multiplicity of color filters in the lens. The others did not do this as far as i could tell and actually felt as if they were allowing more light in to my eye by dilating my pupils due to lens tint.

    • @DrEyeGuy
      @DrEyeGuy  2 āļ›āļĩāļ—āļĩāđˆāđāļĨāđ‰āļ§

      If you seeing the rainbow of colors, sometimes that can chromatic abberation, or other lens clarity issues. Not necessarily that it has different filters. Also.. the tint in the lenses will reduce the light into your eye... or else sunglasses wouldn't work.

      A true blue light test can be with a spectral analysis or a true blue light pen test... not a UV light. The tinted lenses will block blue light... the exact amount would need to be tested.
