Definitely agree with you, along with Guy Sebastian, Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham. All exceptional singers not that well known out of Australia, them being one of our best kept secrets.

You talk about his mesmerising performance, this is early on and just the tip of the iceberg. His concerts are just sublime with songs Trick of the Light, Song for Interlude and Monday. Seen him several times around Australia never ever disappoints and his band is just an experience on their own.
Song for Interlude Live is a must watch/listen for sure! If she thought this performance was vocally amazing, then would love to see what she thinks of that one.
I have watched about 1.4 million different reactions to this song, and this is seriously right up there in the top ... umm, top 2 I'd say! Freaking amazing reaction!

Matt corby is the howling wolf indeed. And you’re not allowed to have expectations when you watch him singing live because he always gives you unexpectedly different flavors. His shows is that kind when you come to just shut up and listen and get mesmerized and being wowed when you’re on your way home to when you’re in your bed before you close your eyes. Not a show that you can sing along with. He’s a world treasure indeed

Best reaction I’ve seen to this song and I have seen them all!! Loved your breakdown. Matt is the full package musician, he writes all his own music and lyrics and plays multiple instruments. He experiments with so many different styles and techniques and they all just seem to work beautifully!

Matt corby is our hidden gem here in Australia. Another gem who we refer to as "the voice" is John Farnham. But only watch his live videos. Nothing pre-recorded as the best of him comes out in his live performances. "Help (with the Melbourne symphony orchestra)", "You're the voice" and "playing to win" are good starting places. Good luck as you'll end up down a rabbit hole of bliss and joy and amazement.
For me one of the best live performances of one of the most underrated artists. Matt Corby deserves more exposure and recognition. Thanks for the fun and informative reaction Loli 😁 love your channel

I agree so much with what most are saying here. I've watched hundreds of reactors to this song, and yours is by far the best mostly because you know exactly how he is doing what he's doing. Most other reactor's say a lot of the same things, and we get it, he's amazing...but this reaction puts a whole different spin on the entire song for me. I see it in such a different light now, 10+ years after first hearing it. So thank you for that! I've been on TH-cam since it started and can count on one hand how many people I subscribe to. Stumbled onto you channel through the Beat-box react, watched a few more. Your a lot of fun in how you break down singing technique and how varied and complex it is. Hello Fairy Voice Mother! I love your take on analysing even the most shocking and unexpected vocal acrobatics :) With that being said I'd love to see your reaction to Igorrr - ieuD! Not to spoil anything but to give you a little hint - there is everything you could expect (or not!) from progressive music mashed up with opera singer with a twist, guitar riffs and made up instruments, all that blended with a synth. Oh, and add an awesome video!

I love how you describe placement - the words, consonants, syllables and where they are pitched - is so, so important. You not only show us by singing it but also describe what's happening physically. A couple examples of great placement is Christine Agulliera’s live version of ‘I love You Porgy’ and Madison Cunningham's song ‘Life According To Raechel’ live studio version. Both very subtle masterclass on placement. You are an incredible teacher. Kudos:))))

Growing up at the same age and place as him I know he would’ve been exposed to Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham a fair bit as icons at that time, it’s really cool how Australian music was doing some really cool stuff in the 80s and 90s especially with grit gravel and soul and seeing the influence it’s had on those who grew up then.
