Thanks for going straight to the point and demonstrating what we WANT TO KNOW!!! Most appreciative that I didn't have to listen to somebody talking me to death about stuff that doesn't apply....thank you.
Well detailed and clear video. It's good that the recording was clear while getting help from others. A big enough job just to remove headlight, but your video will certainly help make the process easier for me, as I have to remove my lights for repair due to bad condensation problems, so I can dry them and reseal the possible leaks. Thanks for sharing mate.
Hey! THANK YOU!!! without you and others like you, me and others like me would really mess some stuff up! or take several days to do it right at the least! Love this channel! Love your accent, too! and all this love comes from Palm Springs Cali!
Kevin S. your response warrants the question: if removing a bumper is too much of an issue/ task for the individual undertaking the DIY, then is he/ she adequately informed to work with the motor vehicle?
Thank you. This was an excellent and helpful video. Could've used some minor detail explanations but then again i'm a true first timer. But I was able to get it done thanks to watching this video. If I had to do it again I'd probably be able to do it in like an hour and some. You were great again, thank you.
Thanks for the videos guys, really helped! My front indicator light is not working, I obviously tried to replace the bulb which didn't help so I replaced the whole headlight. Still not working! Any ideas?
Check plug too ballast box .. just had same problem .. it was plug.... 335i. 2007 .. and from heat inside caused yhem to crack .. replaced plug and heat shrinked wires
Thanks for the video...I thought it was just me who thought the headlight fastening was stupid as shit. I kinda figured the bumper had to come off too but wasnt sure. Thanks for proving me right.
Hi mate, great videos really enjoy them and they are helpful. I have a 2007 335i e90 N54. I have a right dimmer beam out. I've replaced the expensive headlight globe, but it is still not working. Further inspection found that the black cover at the back of the headlight assembly was unclipped at the top. Possible water intrusion after pressure cleaning? Do you have any advice. Really appreciate any insight you may have.
I’ve been trying to change the low beam on the passenger for a while now and I messed around and lost the retaining spring clip to hold the light in. I ordered one off Amazon and today I was trying to stick my arm through the wheel well and I’m like I have to take headlight assembly off so I take the two top screws off and I’m yanking it and it still won’t come off so I look this video up and wtf 🤬 I’m not doin all that fuc that retaining clip and fuc my low beam
Hola amigo. Gracias por tus vídeos. Los miro y he arreglado cosas mirando tus vídeos. Me gustaría mucho que doblaras la vos en español ya que no entiendo tu idioma. De todas maneras muchos saludos de Alicante
So I have the adaptive lights on my 08 e90, if I went without the adaptive will they basically plug and play or is their something else I need. Please help
thanks for the vid...bmw made a terrible head lamp system...I own a E90 and my lamps need changing....nit looking forward to this...great video though thanks
You dont need to remove the bumper for changing a bulb. To change the entire unit itself, yes this is what you have to do. This isnt typical maintenance though,@@Locustskies
@@jessicabecause3717 Yes, but to replace the headlights, you do need to remove the bumper, which is what I was going to do instead of changing the halos.

This video was SUPER helpful, and very well done! I now understand why places will charge me so much to replace the headlight!! Thank you !!
Somehow, I love your videos the most. No BS, no nothing, just simple taking things apart.
You're the champ mate!
If there wasn't for videos like yours, I would've broken many parts trying to remove things.
Cheers!

Imagine that . Taking off a bumper to replace a head light. Thanks alot BMW!
not actually that uncommon...
@@jbx6 that's because automakrrs want to do away with DIY repairs. Another way to. charge car consumers big bucks for once simple maintenance work.

Does anyone know if can I just change the burnt out bulb without buying the whole thing
Do I need to remove the battery terminal?
You DONT have to take the bumper off for the headlight replacement. Just the tire and wheel well cover.
Is same with e92 guys??
Cause the lights are a bit different

Wow. That is ridiculously complicated just to change a headlight. That's BMW for you.
Fuck me thought this would be a 10 min job but that's gonna take me at least 3 to do properly. Great video
There are just as many bolts holding the light as there is holding the whole bumper cover. What a pain in the ass!
What a pain in the arse job this is!
So I did this.... now my brand new headlight has a warning that there is condensation in it. It hasn't rained, its been in the garage. So wtf
