This was super interesting and you certainly know how to do it the right way, tnx for this tutorial. I gotta say eventhough I liked the content of this vid, for the next you might want to delete the music, get some more detailed camera angles with close up cause there's ton of small parts in that thing and also explain us in some more detail and louder so we can figure out what you're doing 👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is a good video to convince myself that I should not attempt to do this since I ain’t got all them tools. My driver side headlamp housing inside somehow popped off so the light beam now points downward. I’m stressed out about how to take it all apart.

Great video! I’ll be going to the junkyard to grab the motorized housing to retrofit into my car. I’ll be using an arduino to control the stepper motors
Nice! But why the complications with arduino ? If you want Dynamic Xenon you can retrofit it, buy headlights, light module , make the wiring and cod it!

Do you have any tips on opening E87 headlights that has not been open before? Just alot of heat and try to open?
My headlights has very bad output and can hardly be seen on the road even with new bults, so i guess they are either dirty or the reflector is bad.

Very Nice instructive movie. I am also considering to overhaul my xenon headlights of my e91 from 2006. Can you give me some guidance on where to order these lenses, I see that there are many vendors but I do not trust all of them. Is it also correct that pre-lci and lci lenses are the same? Also which tape/wire/adhesive(not sure what it is called) you use, is that the bmw genuine stuff they also use in the door for the water barrier? Thank you

On the e90/91, every headlight with dynamic xenon will shine to the left when you are driving in town. As soon as you are on the motorway and drive faster, the position of the lens changes and it shines more in the distance than in the width.
converting a BMW e39 uk headlights to EVOX-R V2.0 D2S Bi xenon....
i noticed that all the EVOX-R V2.0 D2S Bi xenon sold are with a US beam pattern .....can those me modified to be used in uk? how? can the cutoff be inverted?

Hello Guy !! you will not find parts for headlights because the headlights are sold as a single piece, you will have to look for a donor headlight and get what you need from it .

Great job! My E90 adaptive headlights turn the opposite way of steering input, do I need to open the lights to fix it? Or is it a coding issue?
You are doing it wrong! when you have a problem with your car you don't start to ask on internet what can be! you need to find someone who know to repair and diagnose BMW's and go to him for a complete diagnosis. can be from the headlight from modules, from software...
@@MOvidiu I am very knowledgeable with most every aspect of bmw's except for the modules. I have taken it to an indy shop for a diagnosis but they could not figure it out, hence why I asked you to see if by chance you have encountered this issue before and would possibly know how to fix it...
The part with that they didn't figure it out is not accepted that means that they didn't know to diagnose the car or didn't have the interest! you need to diagnose it first, and when I say to diagnose it, I don't mean only to scan the car for errors!!! , doesn't matter if I have found an identical car with a problem like this because it can be a different cause.
You can try to reverse the TMS module and see if the problem remains or migrate with the module, to do activation. to recode or reprogram the module...

I bought a angel eyes kit , for these exact same xenon lci headlights , and I’m having trouble on how to connect the wiring . There is no instructions what so ever , that brand is geerge , would I have to cut an anything ?? Supposably it is plug and play lol there is no lead on how to connect them
Hello, My strongly advise is to throw away that junk kit and restore the headlights to their original state, but if you insist you can connect them to the original sightlight bulb

Salut! Am și eu un e 90 LCI, bi-xenon ! După ce pornesc motorul și o dau pe auto, nu se întâmpla nimic , dar dacă o las pe auto și o pornesc se mișcă lupele stânga/dreapta/ sus/jos! E ok sa o las pe auto sau o pot da pe auto după ce pornesc mașina! Mersi și numai bine!

Excelent video. Și muzica bună. Am văzut că unii s-au chinuit cu desprinderea dispersoarelor de pe carcasa neagra si le-au taiat cu un flex mic. Adica spuneau ca nu merge incalzit si desprins adezivul acela. Sa inteleg ca merge desprins adezivul de fabrica daca e incalzit cu foenul industrial?

Hello , you need to change the headlights , or in the lucky side it is possible to have a flap inside the headlight to block the 45% light ( not to change it )

I can’t remove the glas from the headlight :( I have a non facelift model (2006). I don’t know what I can do to replace the glas.

Salut! Am încercat zilele trecute sa decapsez și eu un far de e90 (2007) și nu am reușit. Mulți îmi spuneau ca ar trebui sa aibe un șurub in spatele semnalizării care trebuie dat afara prima data,e adevărat? Și dacă ma poți ajuta cu ceva sfaturi, de unde sa încep prima data fără sa sparg sticla sau sa rup dunga de plastic

You need to remove the bulb and inspect the mirror and then the head of the fiber for the angel eyes

Hello . there is not such a thing a wiring diagram for the inside of the headlight , firstly yow won't need one , the lengthier wire in the headlight have around 30 cm 1 foot

Doesn't matter what type of BMW do you have, you can have an G12 as well, they all build the same in the matter of headlights asambly

Yes, the old glass was in perfect condition, and even if it wasn't the way that it was done now is very easy to replace it

@@MOvidiu I have a 2011 328i xDrive sedan with the basic H7 Halogen lights/bulbs. One side does not adjust. The adjuster spins. Can I fix this? If not, can you? Is it worth the cost to repair or buy a replacement @ $400 USD?

depending on the headlight ..how cold is the environment ...you need to find the perfect one for you. there is not A temperature...
