I could not agree more...I had never damaged it off road in over 10 years and this was the first body damage....makes me really sad....hopefully will get it fixed soon!
Lol I know!!! The issue I was having was steering!! My front has a spool so it doesn’t disengage when I put it in 2wd…I know i went the cheap and indestructible route but it makes steering rough with no hydro assist
Haha yes!!!! I was running around with the front hubs unlocked on the easier trails so I could steer (spool in the front) and I totally got surprised!!! Brutal!
@@rockquestoff-road2839 When I had front hubs, I would lock the passenger side and leave the driver side unlocked then didn’t have to walk around to do both. Lol
i got a few of these guys just dug out an 88 from a 10 year dirt nap behind my shop . other then bumper any other colateral damage ? sounded like some u joint crunching or something
No thankfully! Just the bumper and the rear corner a bit...still made me very sad...never caught anything like that but there’s always a first time. Thankfully steering held together with all that traction!
A built 400 small block bored to 406, ported and polished, torque cam, world 64cc sportsmen 2 heads, pistons, roller rockers, moly rods, Hedman headers, holly 750 4 barrel carb, edelbrock performer intake, 2 inch dual exhaust, Arp fasteners...it has run perfect since 2001! Love that engine!
I know man...I had a great front custom bumper and winch but it kind of took away the classic look of the truck that i like....it really added the protection but I do not wheel it anymore now after this trip! It is my daily and I want to give it to my son someday :) go check out some of the older vids you can see it! Worked really well
Rockquest Off-Road I did a video binge and watched all your videos I love your suburban! Yes I see your point the classic looks A lot better! Get a old XJ jeep for a crawler Thanks for the comment!! 👍🏼💕

God damn I didn’t even know this vehicle existed and now all I want is an old Chevy suburban.
Dude they are the best💚
So rule number one is when going off-roading lock the hubs before you leap.

Thank you! It was sure fun except for the body damage lol...ripped right through all the mud! I thought I was going to be stuck bad!
