    Absolutely the best DIY on the boiled eggs using the pressure cooker! I bought the Ninja Foodi deluxe just for this. I end up using the Ninja appliance for a lot more since then!

    I have tried many variations to make boiled eggs in my Ninja. Today I used this method and this was best I made. So I think I’ll stick with this method! Thank you for sharing. Happy Cooking

    We eat hard boiled eggs all the time and I’ve owned a ninja for over a year now and never thought about using it for eggs. I will never cook them another way again. They come out perfect and easy to peel every time!!! A tip I learned a while back for peeling……. Always crack and start peeling the eggs on the rounder end (opposite of the more pointed end).

    Nice;y done Brudda. Your video was great. You did a great job explaining this. We live in our RV full time now and we are limited on space. The Ninja is great for all kinds of cooking. Hard boiled eggs is added to my list. I grew up in Clarksburg but live in Washington State now. Thank you for sharing this info

    Do you do nature release or just go ahead and release as soon done on 7 minutes? I have never done eggs in foodi but I am sick and tired of not be able to peel easily off...it ruin my Thanksgiving dinner...( and I even bought the eggs few weeks ago) going to give it a try...and one more thing...can eggs explode in foodi?

    • @gold-n-bluebarbecue
      @gold-n-bluebarbecue  ปีที่แล้ว

      Release after the 7 minutes and carefully transfer to an ice bath. This method has worked with all eggs regardless of how old they are or if they are cold, room temp, etc.. I have never had an egg explode. I have had a few crack, but they still turn out fine. Good Luck!

    What if I don't have the rack that come with the foodie can I still cook them in the pot

    • @gold-n-bluebarbecue

      As long as they are elevated above the water level.. I've seen people ball up aluminum foil and use that as a makeshift rack before.

    can you do soft boiled eggs?

    • @gold-n-bluebarbecue
      @gold-n-bluebarbecue  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Tina and thanks for the question. Yes, you can do soft boiled eggs as well. For that, you will set it on low pressure for 1 minute. After the 1 minute is done, natural vent for 1 minute than immediately release the pressure. Carefully remove the eggs and place in an ice bath. This should provide you with a nice, soft boiled egg. Depending on your unit, the 1 minute cook time may need to be increased slightly, so try it on a few eggs first. Hope this helps!

    • @gold-n-bluebarbecue
      @gold-n-bluebarbecue  ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn't matter, the timer won't start until it builds pressure. It will get there faster with warm water though.

  • @Ken-rs9xf

    You really dont need the ice water, when using eggs from town, they are older eggs, not fresh eggs.

    • @gold-n-bluebarbecue
      @gold-n-bluebarbecue  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ice water bath is Moreno to cool them down quicker so you can hold them to peel them.
