I love the way he phrases things. Concepts that I’ve already been pondering on - he frames them in a perfect light that just elucidates the situation, and the problem within it. For example “people keep performing backflips to FIGURE OUT how to forgive” someone that looks like him. The “figure out” just highlights how it’s not even an easy task in any situation to justify serial killing, and yet people can still go out of their way to do it for certain types of people

I watched Gina on Someone Great first and loved her performance so much I began watching Jane the Virgin. She’s amazing. And Penn, OMG. 🙌🏾

@A. T. That's just simply not how it works. If something has become ingrained in a culture - even popculture - you cannot expect people to bend over backwards for you simply because you haven't seen it.

Everyone seems to be going on about how Gina was talking over Penn and not letting him speak. But, I think they spoke for a fairly equal amount of time?
You know this study some people did about how when women talked the same amount of time everyone felt they talked too much and when there was an equal ratio of women and men in a space men felt there were too many women...

I’m really over here crying at Gina’s ambition to represent all Latinos by getting behind the camera 😭 It’s so wonderful to know someone is using their power and privilege to the fullest.
Gina did well, she asked questions, listened to him, offered new ideas. She’s really good at communicating, and Penn is just so natural, he has a calming aura. I think people are upset with Gina in this interview because her confidence is overflowing making her seem self absorbed whereas Penn feels more relaxed and relatable. I enjoyed them both.. y’all tripping!

I love this channel so much! It shows the personal and analytic lens of each actors experience on/off screen. Plus, I love that actors speak the truth about some topics that are too scarce to talking about on front of the public.

I love the way he phrases things. Concepts that I’ve already been pondering on - he frames them in a perfect light that just elucidates the situation, and the problem within it. For example “people keep performing backflips to FIGURE OUT how to forgive” someone that looks like him. The “figure out” just highlights how it’s not even an easy task in any situation to justify serial killing, and yet people can still go out of their way to do it for certain types of people
