literally, i get why it gets hate from the front but i absolutely love the way the m4 and m3 look
I don't think it's nearly as bad as people make it, but I'm also not a big fan of it and I liked the old, smaller grill more. Just look at the M8, it's an absolute beauty. But I agree to Thomas, it's not the size of the grill, but the integration and other parts of the design, which on the other hand gives me hope that even if they don't go back to the smaller grills they can still make this design work after 1 or 2 updates.
It's definitely good looking but if it had a 20-30% smaller grille it would be an almost perfect bmw imo, styling wise
That Jason Camisa cameo appearance as a Mad Scientist is a killer, just like the M4 is on track. Thomas looks like he had been taking drifting lessons from Walter Rohrl. Epic

Just want to say that as someone who likes to do a couple of track night events per year, I really appreciate your track reviews and the fact that you are very honest in those reviews. So many reviewers don’t have the on track experience that you two do and so they gush over the handling and power of nearly every car they review.
You two are my new go to for car reviews and comparisons now! especially old vs. new. Great work guys, keep it up! Great production values, great banter and you just keep impressing with each new review.
The quality of the content this guys are pulling off is not for a youtube channel, they deserve their own show on Netflix or HBO or a big streaming service.

You guys really are something special in the car review space. The way James baited us into thinking he was gonna say the exact same thing as everyone else about the grille is an example. Idk if you guys love or hate being compared to top gear but it makes sense. I personally like to see you guys as the modern day version of what they had going on all those years ago. Idk how to put how i feel to text but this channel is amazing and ill be here for a long time lol. Edit: i just restarted the video and omg the rear view mirror smiles 😂

1 - the quality of this video is unbelievable
2 - Thomas is an unreal driver
I think the drifting he does is something every average Driver with some practice is cable of.

I have no clue why people HATE the new look of the M3/M4. I feel it's really bold and makes a solid statement!! And the best thing - everyone talks about it. People start liking things over time. This design is going to grow on everyone.

I'm sincerely curious to see what it would look like with an aftermarket hood and front bumper that were completely redesigned. It could probably become an aspiration for me then. Right now, I'm still more obsessed by E92s and the old M4
There's videos on yt of these cars in new body kits and I must say the car looks crazy good with them. Really aggressive, not as refined and beautiful as the e92, but it looks really really aggressive. Couple that with the fact that people are getting 750+hp on stock turbos and this car is actually quite insane

I guess I'm in the minority here but I love the new look of the M3/M4. It took finally seeing one in person but once I did I was blown away at how good it looked.
I think I am one of the very few who liked it right off the bat. Everyone that complains about it not being BMW knows nothing of the companies heritage
It's definitely growing on me. It was certainly shocking when it came out, but so was David Bowie. Those are the kinds of things that tend to stay the test of time, for better or worse.

You know Thomas, I gotta give you credit among all the negative reviews about its styling, you remained factual about how the car is wonderful to drive. I, too, don't think it is the best looking car to drive. But as a lifelong M car fan, I ended up putting in an order for a manual spec Tanzanite Blue M car. In an era where EVERYONE is going hybrid, electric I will celebrate something that is analog to drive, KUDOS to you for remaining objective. I may get laughed at locally for its looks but I KNOW I will have the time of my life on track days.

I got the M3 Comp in this color pattern. Love it so much. I’m one of the few that likes the new look. In person it looks awesome. But more importantly is how amazing it is to drive. An absolute beast and never gets old.
TBH I really don’t understand the people who say that the car looks ugly. It looks absolutely perfect and I love the grill design. 👍🏻🔥

M3 looks much better IMO. Front is still so so but the side view is a lot better on the M3. I’ve got the M340 and I’d be curious how you guys feel this stacks up. Is it 30k+ better and more fun?

Savage Geese is good, bit this is youtube Top Gear, and its great. They are great presenters, the shots are excelent, the jokes are funny, the reviewers are knowledgeable. Only thing missing are Throttle House specials.

After watching this video (third review on this very car), I'm sold on it all around and the honkin' grill gives it character IMO. It seems so fun, yet balanced, and it offers a slightly different look than the cookie-cutter styling on everything BMW now. Just my opinion and great video!
Right? I feel like now theres a seperation. When you see that big grille you know its a M car. Back then, regular 3 series vs m 3 would look the same, apart from small things here and there. Now a m3 is completely more aggressive looking and sick.

As the owner of a 2022 M4 Competition CV, I find it to be a fantastic touring car with a sport attitude. Performance and safety in a fun daily driver won me over.
I just picked up a new 2022 M4 Competition convertible and I'm very impressed with how good in gas it is tbh lol Obviously it's brand new with barely 200 miles in it, they told me to don't push it before my first 1200 miles so I'm driving "normal" for now but this thing is a blast and a beast to be in 🤙🏻

I honestly think they look great and somehow blend the lines between Sport and muscle car. i really like the overall body of the m3 a lot better and think it is more thought out somehow. anway love the video, keep them coming
