This is Mark from Sacramento thanks for using my bone guys. My main bone about produce was people who buy large amounts of loose produce and use the self checkout station instead of using the cashiers that can check you out much faster. Watching people try to look up their produce items on the touch screen and then weigh them is absolutely painful.

Starbucks barista here, I think the best way to say you want a splash or a bit of whatever liquid is “can you put a tiny bit of cream.” For some reason once we hear the word tiny, it registers. A splash is actually more than y’all are saying. I know it’s not right if just telling yall how it is. Love the show

Thank you on the "splash". Was constantly bitching to my ex about this and her love for Starbucks. Not only is a splash not a pour but the spouts on those things are gigantic. She told me I should just ask to pour it. And I say screw that. It's not my job. And then I feel like an ass as I tell them a tablespoon which they still can't get right. So what do you say? I've tried drizzle and then feel like an asshole saying that LOL. Now I'm all fired up!
A whisper is a good one. The employees are just combat trained by experiencing ppl who ask for a splash when they’re at the register so they don’t have to pay for the sixty cent “extra milk “ charge then they watch the baristas make their drink and when they add a splash , the person asks for a bit more so they splash more and then “just a bit more” . So they think if they ask for a splash they w ant more and don’t want to pay the 60c. Experienced this first hand working at many coffee shops and Starbucks.

If you're trying to run up a lane and cut over at an exit I know multiple people who will trade paint with you just to keep you from cutting the exit wait. I personally know people who block you out and let you wait. This will escalate quickly in Philly. I've seen people bumped to keep you from going through that half car gap.

I know several baristas that have a bone to pick with people who think splash is a unit of measurement. Ask for it on the side next time, it's no extra charge and you can splash how you like to splash.

I use paper towels to wipe and I do nt care who knows it. Just so long as you don’t wad them up to clog the toilet or you don’t have a weak flush, paper towels are the ticket. Toilet paper is disgusting and it is terrible at what it’s supposed to do. Paper towels have traction, and don’t ball up and flake like TP. I’m not talking about public bathroom paper towels, those are a little too much.paper towels on the roll (Bounty, Brawny, etc)
