My favorite thing about this podcast is the fact that Soder put that IKEA bookcase together and one of the shelves is backwards and his lazy ass just left it that way. Now it’s the main backdrop to his show 😂. Please never change Dan!

Saw Soder at the Fully Loaded Tour this summer at Forest Hills Stadium. Genuinely had me crying. Soder and Attell smashed it.

These short podcasts are great. The Soder Podcast is easily becoming one of my favorites.
i was definitely one of the selfish naysayers that was bummed about the 30 min limit at first, but dan coming out bonus footage throughout the week instead of ten second clips that ive already seen is very refreshing
HOWEVER, i don't like the way he says "who wants to hear me talk for an hour"

Soder is a champion and a dreamer
My mom kept me away from my dad for 20 years. One day i told her i was going to look for him regardless of how mad she got and by the grace of god it was like i knew exactly where to drive, there was a bigger town next to mine and this house there kept pulling at me every time i passed it. Idk why that was the first place i went. I was sure enough it that my grandma was on my dad's side house , and i guess I remembered as a baby before my moms family kept me. My grandma hug me and told me that she always knew i was going to come looking for them. She called my dad over, and he's been my best friend ever since ❤😂 coolest dude on earth 🌎

What a great episode. It feels like a big circle. I learned about Bob kelly, Jim Norton, Patrice O Niel, and the cellar through O and A, and then gravitated more to each comic's material. Ate as much of it as i could, and then years later moved over to their own works and podcast. I then discovered the next generation of comics like Dan Soder, and am going through the same cycle again.
Thank you for all you do for your fans. Your real the shit 🤙

Damn Dan, sorry to hear about your sister. You guys really opened up on this one. I've lost everyone except my sister and my cousins. I had a great father l, and he died on my 19th birthday while I was in basic training at fort Benning. Trauma is trauma, though.

I got into The Bonfire maybe a year after Dan left and I was so upset that I had missed one of the funniest comedy duos in podcast history. So happy that I can continue to follow their careers afterwards tho. All good things...

Great ep. Keep editing. I'd listen to a podcast of comics talking about being dad's all day. Lots of my fave comics have kids
I found the convo about the bonfire ending and then being reborn as jay and bobby to be interesting cuz i was super bummed when Dan left (long time listener). But I took about a month off and mourned (joking) and then gave the new show a chance (I already liked bobby from YKWD regz and O and A, and just being around comedy) so while the show is definitely different i was able to fall in love all over again. I found it interesting to hear their perspectives on it. I'll support Dan on whatever he does. Also the new Regz show has been a nice reprieve from missing the Bonfire. Keep up the great works fellas.

Counter point: Norm Macdonald's old podcast. The more edited shorter Netflix version isn't as beloved as the longer, older ones. You're overthinking it. people love hour+ pods. Even Regz you're often funnier in second hour. Longer is a strength of yours you should utilize
