Just wanted to follow up on this video. We made reservations for this resort last year, visited the resort in early September 2022 (so technically off season) and only watched this video 48 hours before leaving to mexico. Everything shown and told is pretty close to our experience. We had the same kind of room layout shown in the video. Same floor just 2 rooms over. Room was amazing, very clean, beds were comfortable except for the pull out couch bed which was more like springs. Mini bar looked exactly the same and they stocked it every day for us. Room side pool wasn't "cold" for us but that's personal opinion. Only issue we had with our room was the sliding back door. It takes a hulk to open and close that door. Also note, the pool connected to the rooms also connects to some of the other rooms on your floor. So its more of a semi personal pool. As a whole, the resort is very clean, great staff and mostly bi lingual. Yes it is all inclusive but plz tip a little something to staff. You'll thank me later especially if you're tipping in USD. We ate at almost all the restaurants except for the yacht club. Ran out of time. Video is right on the Italian joint. Save your carbs/ points or whatever system you use for something else. The aqua Nick pizza was better. Bikini bottom has probably the best food on premises but like video said, weird times of operation. Good burger was just mid range. The bistro is best if you like seafood but still has some turf food. The spatula place is great cuz not only does it do breakfast but also has some brunch items as well. It also has full liquor bar. If you have picky eaters, bistro, bikini bottom and good burger are your best bets. They will cook off menu to get the kids fed. The beach is ok for your pictures and a way to say you had your foot in the ocean but it's almost unusable. Seaweed and rocks right at the edge. The swim up bars are very nice. Top shelf liquor and no judgements on how many you order lol. Water park is nice but with its size, you'll spend maybe 4 to 6 hours there and will wanna dip out. It's not the smallest nor the biggest park and you can only go down the same slides and bake in the sun for so long. The kid sections of aqua nick are very safe with lots of lifeguards but the adult slides are a bit sketchy. Ride at your own risk for sure on them. As for transportation, we always had a sprinter van either waiting or only a 2 min wait. It's Mexico driving for sure so hold on to something lol but the vans were very comfortable. As for logistics, the front staff make sure before you even get to your room that all your travel arrangements to and from the resort and airport are done. You can arrange private transportation but don't fall for the taxi people outside the airport. They will try to trick tourist. The Lomas group is amazing and even have a tiny office on the resort itself for convience. White and teal shirts, not hard to miss. Make sure to tip those drivers. They even gave us beer in the vans to and from the airport lol. Overall, what you see in the video is what you should expect when you get there. As of this comment, this video was about 5 to 6 months old from when we went and looks basically the same.
@@nine7travel NP. It really is a great resort and good review on your part. Ya its got the Nickelodeon "tax" but worth it. I also love the spongebob comment you made for the Italian joint. "O brother, this guy stinks!" Lol

Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.
I've been there. Don't let that be a deal breaker. They mostly use big sprinter vans. It's no more then a 2 min drive to different parts of the resort. Very comfortable and A.C. is blasting which is nice in that weather.
This video was AMAZING!!!!! We are so excited for our upcoming trip. I do want to ask which app did you download to see everything the resort has to offer?
We usually tipped about 5 or 10 pesos for our dinner service and everyone was always very appreciative as it's not really required! If we spent the day out at the pool having drinks and the server took care of us would be give them 20!
Yes they do! Be sure you contact the hotel and give them all your information so they can set up the travel for you. You will make your way through the airport, past all the rental car companies and look for the 'Loomas Travel' person outside. Its a very hectic scene out there so just be looking for their sign because EVERYBODY will be trying to give you a ride.
Great Video. 3 questions.. You mentioned you had to take the transportation between lobby and hotel and hotel and aqua nick. Can you not walk if you wanted to? My wife and I like to walk and do quite a bit. Also, was the food at the Piazza Tavola just that bad? The pizza and spaghetti looked ok.. even the odd shaped tomatoes in the salad. Also, you seem close to Generations/Casitas and El Dorado Royale. Were you allowed to visit those at all for meals? Or even to walk over and look around? Seems just down the beach, or even maybe on same road?
Thanks for the compliment! You CAN walk if you choose but it is quite a distance, well over a mile one-way. Piazza Tavola was not ideal. Assuming you mean the Eggplant you saw, it was very bland. I mean if you've got the time you might as well but if you're crunched I wouldn't put it at the top of the list at all. We did not leave the hotel grounds at all for our trip!
Great video! Do you know the height requirements for the water slides? I can't find that information anywhere. Also, is the pool water warm at aquanick or the first floor pool at the hotel? I know you said the balcony pool was cold. thanks again
Hello there! Unfortunately I do not know the specific height requirements but if I had to guess off visual memory it was very similar to the US in nothing was taller than 48 inches. Aqua Nick water was much better than the balcony. First floor pool was also much warmer as it usually gets a bit more sunlight than the balcony.
While no specific body height is required, it is recommended to avoid going on the slides if your p,enis is more then 5 inches. This is because your pe,nis may get caught on something and it could tare off.
Do they check bracelets once your inside resort? Like to go to gift shops or restaurants inside for pictures and tour around.I bought one day pass for waterpark for next week but i know those features are not included.
No they do not! You can tour the whole resort really. The wristbands are only scanned to enter the Waterpark area/building and then to get into a room. Besides that they are not checked to ride a tram, enter restaurants, or anything like that.

We actually never made it down to the beach but heard it was usually covered in seaweed, there’s also a lot of rocks in water that the hotel put in case of a storm so you can’t really swim too far out either. If you look at 05:22 you can kind of see it.

I know! We recently went and my hubby asked them why! They said it would be a lot of pressure to have things exact and perfect to look just as the show (food wise) so they didn't do it. I think they should and also have a chum bucket across the way lol 😂
the only thing that bothers me is that its so modern, im grown and all but id want it to look very creative and kid friendly
It is very kid friendly looking! Tons of bright colors and stuff but yes quite modern.
I hope my mom takes me there one day.
This is a nickelodeon hotel

We did not see any Jamaican food!
Wtf Mexico??? Why Mexico??? 😂 I’m so shook
You thought Mexico was a third world country hahaha
@@RangersLegacy right, what a clown
Land was probably really cheap and the surrounding beaches and water is GORGEOUS.
why aren't you allowed to walk around? feels very american to haver to drive averywhere.
You are able to walk. It’s about 10-15 mins if you wanted to skip the tram but there really isn’t anything to look at on the walk. It’s just a jungle!
Too bad it's in Mexico. Not down to get kidnapped or killed.
Resort itself is extremely safe.
@@nine7travel I don't believe it. They are killing lots of tourists. I'm good.
@@noneya972 where are you from? If you are American you should not say that cause the US has a lot of mass shootings, you can't even go to Walmart cause you think something will happen.
Stfu 😂😂 USA has a lot of mass shootings! Kidnapped or killed could happen anywhere men…. 😅
Is the Starbucks included in the All inclusivity?
It is not and the operating time of said Starbucks when we were there was very strange. I never saw it open! Not sure if it was unfinished or what.
