I went here with my kids aged 7 and 5 and we had a blast. Loved the fact that there were multiple pools and a whole kids water park section so kids weren’t all up in the adult spaces. The food was bomb. And the best part, the price. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. I’ll definitely be going back.
They way they did the rainbow shots is by mixing different alcohols and mixers (eg. blue curacao + vodka for blue.. grenadine + vodka for red...melon liquor + vodka for green, etc.). Then, they layer each drink by density. Grenadine/vodka goes in the shaker first because grenadine is one of the most dense liquids in the drinking world, while the blue curacao + vodka goes in last because they are both thin alcoholic liquids. That's why every rainbow shots start blue and end with red.

This was the first resort I ever stayed at in mexico and made me fall in love! We hated the timeshare part when we got checked in but we had a good time.

My cousin and I stayed there in 2018. We had a great time. The only reason we won't be going back is because it isn't adults only and that is what we prefer.
We just got back from this resort. Will say the beach was amazing. Very little seaweed and what did land on the beach they cleaned up very early in the morning to have it nice when the crowd showed up. Blue Moon was hands down the best restaurant on this resort.

So happy I booked this a few weeks ago, wasn't too sure as I thought it was ridiculously cheap for flights and for two adults for a week for an all inclusive but it looks like it's going to be a great week, cheers dude.

This was our first resort in Mexico back in 2018 and we loved it!! So luxurious and modern. The only downside was the steakhouse was under reno but there are 9 other restaurants to enjoy! Will definitely go back again since mexico resorts are hit and miss. But I would def recommend Ocean Riviera!!

You are bringing me back. We went in June 2017 shortly after they opened. Our biggest disappointment was how rocky the beach was entering into the water. But the food was great, service was excellent. The maturity of the foliage is evident from then to now. Seems to continue to be an excellent value. What is next? 🏝️ or 🎰

You want the Seaview EDEN rooftop suite. Not the Privilege suites as the Eden has the view . Just upgrade to privilege at resort and eden suite.
Yes! Here as we speak (end of Feb 2024) and staying in the Eden section. Honestly so many pluses and very little negatives. Even the beach has very little sargassum! Will definitely be coming back!
My experience there was horrible, I was there July 30 through August 4 so I just got back. I’ve been sick ever since matter fact everybody that went with me was sick the entire time. it made me not ever wanna go back to Mexico, but I can’t blame all the resorts from one bad experience. Thank God, I’m feeling a little bit better

I would love to see you do resort comparisons for what I call upper or high end all inclusive resorts in the Cancun area... Such as Le Blanc, Live Aqua, Excellence Playa Majeures, Unico 2087, Secrets Moxche Impressions, Grand Velas or any that you feel fit into this category... I know a trip may not be feasible considering the cost of the some of these resorts but figured, may as well throw it out there..... Lol.... Never know.... Just incase you are looking for trip ideas in the future.... I would love to hear your take on these resorts and how feel there compare or stack up to one another.... we just got back from Ocean El Faro, another H10 hotel and it was amazing - We have booked Ocean Riviera Paradise for next year. Unreal price for both vacations. Highly recommend H10 hotels

I booked 3 Eden ocean front rooftop jacuzzi suites for Sept. I couldn't pass up the 30% off H10 was having on cyber month. Love your reviews brother. Now hopefully we get a little luck on the seaweed flow, the beach looks ok outside of that. You know how seaweed can be.
Was there 3 months after it fully opened and it wasn’t fully completed yet but when the resort left an impression where you actually felt like you want to come back that’s a sign it’s a good resort. It’s no Hotel Xcaret but I definitely want to go back there some day.

because of your review we booked 10 days in the oceans. we chose swim out in the privilege building with our own butler. it’s been amazing ! staff are amazing, plenty of pools, food and beverage to choose from. yes we agree with your review of the beach, but it’s not a huge deal for us. thank you
Me and my late hubby went here when it first opened. We were astonished!! The price we paid versus the room, food etc. I think there was a bowling alley there. We had the El Beso swim out.

Good way to start off the day with ‘the kiss.’ Got thru the Spanish ads, then Febreeze in Spanish then a discreet undies ad, and i was ready for a cocktail at the pool. Then an Expedia ad broke in right before the breakfast buffet. And what a spread they have! Never seen so many syrup options before! The buffet bar was so clean, uncluttered, no people hovering over the food 👌🏻 perfecto. Get a room with blackout shades James and get that sleep! All the best,

The sargassum is an invasive issue with most of riviera maya. Expect it to be year round. Some hotels it’s worse depending on the location.
