You nailed it. I’m a New Jersey native and this park has some great thrills and great blend of adult / children rides. It packs a punch in a smaller space. However, it absolutely feels like a warehouse and needs the vegetation and theming that its sister park in Minnesota’s Mall of America does so well.
I agree! the ADM Nickelodeon Universe deserves more vegetation, more decorating, more theming, and a lot more rides and attractions!

I know someone who works for the American dream, they told me that the marketing team is extremely unreliable, them and the social media team have no clue what they’re doing, there’s a load of events that go on in this mall that are unannounced because marketing doesn’t post about them and much more

That sucks that the jimmy neutron ride closed when you were there. I was there May 2022. The Jimmy Neutron ride is a lot of fun. You can even control if you want to turn back or forth on the wheel. This ride may cause dizziness, but it’s fun. I highly recommend it:)
I rode the Jimmy Neutron riders ice the last time I was there. Couldn’t flip myself completely upside down…too scared. LOL. Maybe one day…

I went here last year and it was one of my favorite experiences.The Shredder was definitely one of my favorite rides but so was Skyline Scream.
When you mentioned the TMNT I started shaking my mom because we both went on it although she threw up after!

This is actually funny because I actually went yesterday to Nickelodeon Universe at American Dream. I was only able to ride Shredder and Sandy Blasting Bronco's but they were really good! When I go next time to spend the day, I can't wait! 😁

This place looks amazing!!! It reminds me a lot of the defunct Nickelodeon Suites Resort in Florida, but bigger! I hope that I get to go there someday so I can ride those rides and meet Nickelodeon characters again!

I think a dark ride would definitely benefit Nickelodeon Universe. Maybe one themed to the TUFF series, since TUFF Puppy is one of Nick's most underrated shows, and that show needs some much needed theme park representation.

I went yesterday and loved it. Fortunately the skyline was open and o went at night and I recommend it. You get to see Nee York light up!
We’re gonna need a bigger and more immersive Nickelodeon Universe theme park with multiple themed lands, lots of theming, and up to 50 rides and attractions like a collection of flat rides, 6 roller coasters, a couple of water rides, 10 dark rides, and more!

Both me & my dad went into this theme park at American Dream Mall last year and we both had a blast going on the Nickelodeon themed rides
I live near mall of America where it has another nickelodeon universe, and looking at all the rides at American Dream, some look like redesigns of the coasters we have here, expect these ones look funner :D

I was just at American Dream this weekend and had no idea you could get into the park without a full ticket! We saw the ticket prices and had major sticker shock and just avoided the whole thing. It's a shame, if I'd known you could do a pay per ride thing I might have gone on a coaster or two.
There are tickets that have unlimited rides. That aren’t mega expwnsive

I went to Nick Universe at Mall of America a ton as a kid! They had a deal where if you spent a certain amount at the mall around Christmas you'd get free wristbands. The moms and grandma did all their shopping and would get enough for all the cousins. Great memories. Was fun but could only get about 1/2 a day there max. Interesting to see how similar the parks are. The skateboard is a repaint, so is the jimmy spin ride. The biggest thing I'm surprised about is that Gerstlaur shellraiser coaster. The rockbottom plunge at MOA has similar but smaller layout and mechanics, same car too. BUT my issue was always that it was a headbanger! Thought it was an age thing, but nope just something about that model I guess. Sucks to see they didn't fix that problem. MOA theming always felt a big warehousy too.

I absolutely love this park! I was lucky to travel to the area for work a couple times and had no clue I would fall in love with this mall and this park! Btw 2 hrs is plenty of time, my first trip I was able to do shellraiser 10x, timmys 2x, shredder, and the drop tower and gyro ride. My second trip I was able to do sandys 8x and the drop tower. Rides being closed is a major theme my first time Sandy's was closed and my second time every coaster but Sandy's was closed. Unfortunately I went before the pay per ride option and before you could walk thru the park but I would recommend checking the website BUT ALSO walk to the park and see that what you want to ride is open before buying tickets.

I went there in July and even tho I was sad that the Timmy ride was closed, I was really happy when I got to the Shredder, it’s definitely a favorite of mine in the park. The line for the Nickelodeon slime streak was very short that I did this ride 5 times.
Hay TPM, How bad was the screening at the park from the coasters? Was it super echoey or did the terrible music drowned it out?

I've only been to The Mall of America version, but I can say that it is fun!
I’ve been to American Dream a few times in the past but never experienced Nickelodeon Universe because of the admission price. Since that has changed, I was able to enjoy the park last week. I was only able to ride two rides because it was near closing time. The rides I ride were SpongeBob’s Jellyfish Jam and the Slime Streak. The Slime Streak coaster was a lot of fun and more intense than it looked. I plan on coming back very soon to ride more, including Sandy’s Bucking Broncho, Jimmy Neutron’s Atom Blaster and others.
I'd love to go there one day. I know that this park is cursed, along with the rest of the American Dream Mall.

Interesting take concerning Sandy. It was the exact opposite from me. I thought that the front was considerably smoother than the rear, back on my 2021 trip.
Talk about the one at the mall of America! I have been to that one alot when I am on trips.
I went back in October and loved the Shredder and Shellraiser! The Sandy ride i was not a fan off… too much rattle and i had a massive headache when i got off. The slime themed ride was just kinda meh.
idk if you’ve ever been, but Busch Gardens (one is tampa, fl and one is virginia somewhere) is an amazing theme park! as locals we go quite often, but it’s truly amazing. they have multiple record breaking coasters and i think you would really like it /)

We took our 5 tr old son there to enjoy the his birthday. We were extremely surprised by how many quality thrill rides they fit in the Nickelodeon universe. Not to mention all the eatery’s and shops. No long line when we left . legoland was closed as that was his main reason for going but we had a blast over all. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Skyline Scream is an awesome Drop Tower. Although the gondola didn't rotate when I rode it

Hi, I went to this before the pandemic! While the American Dream is kind of a mess of a mall, a lot of the rides at the Nickelodeon Universe are sooooo good! Especially the TMNT coaster. I hope they could build more of these miniature theme parks at other big malls >3
Malls are not doing so well. This mall would probably be nearly empty if this was not there to bring in people.

I’ve been to the Nickelodeon Universe at MOA and it was so fun as a kid but as the years came on it became outdated with franchises that are not even recognized by the newer generation of kids….
When I went to Nickelodeon universe in May last year I went on shellraiser three times and sat in the front row twice

You should try and go to Lagoon in Utah sometimes. They have a new ride that opens soon and I think you would have a good time there
The Shellraiser is the same as Takabisha at Japan's Fuji Q Highland apart from the drop which is beaten by 0.5 degrees. Gerstlauer has been known for rough rides, especially the Eurofighter model by coaster fans.

I've been here before but I went to the one in New Jersey my favorite rides are Spongebob's swings,The slime coaster, and the Avatar ride
I went in July 2022 and unlucky enough the Dora ride, Timmy turner ride and the tmnt ride was closed and while I was there they were testing the sandy ride out so it wasn’t open to the public yet but beside those big coasters being closed everything else was opened and it is definitely worth stopping☺️
