  • First of all, thanks to Topper Jewelers for sending me this watch for review. WWW.TOPPERJEWELERS.COM
This is not a review, it’s an experimental video I am trying. It’s an informal blind first look video with unboxing, initial impressions that have me showing the process of initial setup, and what you would go through when trying this watch for the first time. It’s long, but it shows you what to realistically expect when first getting this watch. I also do a size comparison. The full review will be done soon. Please leave feedback in the comments on your thoughts on this format. I may do something like this on a Livestream if interest is shown. Let me know!

If this had the solar panel this would be a must purchase for me.

Solar would trickle so little juice into this watch, it would only be added to say they added it.

@@DougFNJ if true that is unfortunate. I am so done with smart watches and their batteries that are useless after a year. Thanks for the info, I will keep an eye on the GShock Move and hope for a sale on Black Friday, that watch is nice, no battery anxiety.

So far I'm not a big Wear OS or Apple Watch fan, but I do love my G-Shocks thought. I'll look for the full review! 👍👍

Hi I've 2 point to clear:
    1) does it shows the note or reminder saved on my phone or app?
    2) Does it have a screen showing always a "dual time" hour)

I buy watches like the GPR-B1000-1JR Rangeman just for the time, day, date options......and the extras are for just in case......

How do I just keep the watch in watch mode. The battery keeps running out every day. All I need is it to be a watch and when I need GPS be able to turn it on like my Garmin.

Sorry for the delay. In the apps screen, press on "Timepiece".Set the settings you want, swipethe screen from left to right to turn off WearOS and the watch is in Timepiece mode.Hold the Power button to re-open WearOS.

Battery life is horrible for the price point. Not a wise purchase. A redo is needed for this watch to be of value.

Really wish they went with the newer chip. Battery life is much better, its faster more efficient. This watch is still great, but needs some work.

Does the watch support the Polish menu? How much is?

    • @DougFNJ
      @DougFNJ  2 ปีที่แล้ว

It should support any language WearOS supports. I would assume it does.:D

Wear OS is a hog and needs that 4100 snap dragon, without it you will not get the upgrade to Wear OS 3 that's on its way, great review 👍

Too expensive... Offers the same as any other Smart Watch with Android OS... For that price, I prefer a Garmin 6 Solar...

Both are great, the battery life of GBD vs GSW is a big deal, but the features on this one are killer.

Choices are never a bad thing. We now have choices from a smartwatch, Bluetooth watches with limits, and straight up digital to choose from. I love that Casio serves such a diverse audience.
