There is nothing quite like watching a willing student learn, grow, and succeed under your tutelage. Welcome to the world of teaching, man. It never gets old.
Nate, We do really appreciate that you read most if not all comments. Just tossing out an idea for you since you had said previously that you were starting a bait business and one way to help start funding that adventure might be for you to compile a small "starter kits" for viewers that would be interested in actually attempting to make their first bait. Something simple as a couple small blocks of wood, some screw-in eye bolts, maybe some "scale" sparkle stickers for us who cant paint, a few hooks etc... As I said its just an idea to get some revenue flowing and help you pursue your larger goals.

I hope you know you’ve had me watching for about 10 months and I’m hooked to lure making and pouring the process is slower due to my boat being redone fully after I bought it but the molds will be coming and wooden giant lures will be made with time far casts and tight line💪🏼

EXPERIMENT: Lure with eyes vs lure with no eyes. Do the eyes even matter?
I actually just tried that with streamer flies not too long ago, and the ones with eyes got more strikes from trout. Not sure about other lure styles or fish species though.
Well he's caught fish off of a raw block of wood so.......
I've had the same results as BeetleBuns with the flies that I've tied/fished..... although I've caught trout on flies, my passion is warm-water fly-fishing...bass, bream, crappy, carp, gar, catfish, etcetera. BTW, grass carp are the hardest fighting fish that I've ever caught. Anywho... I believe eye's make all the difference.... I put them on any lure that doesn't have them stock.
Mr. Marling... although you didn't use it in this video.... I think that your pocket knife is way too small - a machete perhaps??

I stopped watching all those guys after they moved in and created the Googan channel. Got tired of the “less fishing and more shenanigans” content. Stopped watching LFG when he joined... (Never stopped watching 1Rod tho. Hoping his content stays true to what he’s always now that he’s back with them).
Peric was my least favorite of all of them but I gotta say he was actually enjoyable to watch in this video. I think once you take him out of the normal goofball interaction setting and he’s placed in a setting like this he really calms down. He seemed genuinely humbled and interested in what you guys were doing here. Overall great video guys. I might actually go over and watch his version of this video if he has one.
