- Mahindra's Roxor is gaining popularity in USA, most ranchers and farmers are loving our indian thar over there, in this video i am talking about what actually roxor is, and why so many Americans are liking mahindra's roxor.
it is actually unusual to see people from a developed country are liking a vehicle which doesn't comes from a renowned brand or a devolved country.

I am an American, and I love my 2019 Roxor. It's one tough vehicle, I hope they get the legal problems with Fiat/Chrysler put behind them and start selling them here again.
I hope they counter and block Jeep sales from all countries outside the USA, that would be awesome !

Greetings. I have a BS4 THAR Crde non ABS, Silver color, the last one from factory.Had I delayed booking by a day I could not have got it.
I went for this due to Minimum Electronics .It has the iconic CJ5 DNA.
I fitted freewheeling hubs, Single leaf Composite spring at the rear and full underbody protection.
The Thar came with HT tyres and exchanged it by paying a small amount and fitted with Apollo Apterra AT2 tyres.
Recently won the 15th Annual Palar Challange 2021 in Stock Catogery.
Also fitted Dieseltronics.
The performance is awesome

I REALLY hope the Roxor comes back to the USA market, and I don't care what it looks like as long as it is still the same TOUGH machine and built right. Although, I would like to see a PTO version coming off that transfer case. Then I'd get four or five of them for my ranch in Texas, instead of just one or two.

India manufactured Mahindra and Tata vehicles have top safety ratings. Went for Mahindra XUV 300 because of safety rating....but now loving it for the driving experience. It is simply amazing ✨

Now Mahindra and royal Enfield are their to hold position in developed markets as well.

In many US States there are different rules for vehicles , so in many States anyone can make roxor a street legal by adding just side mirrors and side indicators this triggered Chrysler to stop roxor in US .

Very detailed & informative video indeed. Roxor/Thar derived from Mahindra 540 DP (Diesel Peugeot) which actually was a CJ 7. Mahindra started their own production with a collaboration with Willys by making the CJ 3B a true Indian icon. They then replaced their CJ 3Bs with CJ 7s in the late eighties early nineties in the form of their own versions like 540 DPs, Commanders, Thars & Roxors.
So basically today’s Thar & Roxor are the real CJ 7s of the past just like as if we are travelling back in time whenever we sit in one of these. This is the reason of them being bare bones as compared to a Wrangler. Because they are not supposed to be compared to a Wrangler but they actually are cousins of the Wrangler’s grand dad…
So basically whenever one sits in a 2021 Thar/Roxor, they should imagine themselves sitting in a 1976 CJ 7 but with just new tech gadgets or body claddings. I am a die hard Jeep fan and a proud CJ 3B owner myself. Keep up the great work Mahindra & Jeep…

I think you forgot to mention the solid front suspension in the roxor as compared to the independent one in thar crde. Yes, the thar DI was solid suspension in India so i believe it is more closely related to the Thar DI rather than the Crde.
Before Indians get too excited they should know that it's not road certified.
It's only certified to be an off road vehicle.
It's liked because it's bigger than a typical off road vehicle and has more cabin protection and is dirt cheap.

Farmers are Farmers regardless of which country they are from, They always look for cost effective ways of farming and commute around their thousands of acre of land... Mahinda has been a part of American Farming community from a long time... Because they give cheap affordable and most of all reliable old school tech, while most of the American company are looting Americans by making it so advanced that Farmers cannot fix this in their Shed. Thar is just a product a part of that...
