- In this Video i've Triesd to explain how in near future Indian cars can replace western cars in Russia.
This whole situation is linked with the current built up in russia, the NATO sanctions have made it impossible to sell cars western cars in russia, and after war ends Indian cars companies have great opprtunity to enter in russian car market.

I think TATA & Mahindra should take initiative but with Practical features which will be suitable for Russian Climate
Ofcourse companies do that.
Indian companies also import a lot of subcomponents for cars from outside. If hit by sanctions, they will be unable to sell the vehicles in Russia.

Tata has a good opportunity to test out enthusiast based cars. In russia there are many petrol heads and offroaders. How would it be if they test out an Altroz with the upcoming 1.5l 160bhp revotron engine and a new body on frame 4x4 SUV? In India such car might not succeed but let's hope best from russian car market. Then TATA can simply sell those type of cars to Indian petrolheads.
Mahindra has also a good opportunity .

Our govt should have lower tax for 4x4 muv vehicles and do away with sub 4meters rule for people carriers. This will do immense good for those village folks that are yet to be connected with proper roads. Its a norm to see passengers pushing their sumo during rainy season on unpaved mountain roads.
With that typical Indian mindset we have stayed medieval for so long while global humiliation keep on soaring .

Mahindra can adapt more easily to Russian market as the success of the Roxor in USA shows. Tata can export it's pure Indian brands like Sumo or Tigor with modifications to suit that market. Force Gurkha would have been a good choice but for it's Mercedes engine. Whatever it may be, India should put all efforts to enter Russian market. A joint venture between Tata and Mahindra pooling their talent and resources to produce one or two unique models in Russia would be interesting and open the door to Scandinavian and eastern European countries as well.

They know what they need. As stated in the video, the cheapest of cars have heated seats and mirrors.
Indians on the other hand want sunroof but not ventilated seats. A lot of Indian cars have average air-conditioning while in Russia cars have effective heaters. We are no buying what we need instead copying the west. ADAS has negligible use on Indian roads but still people want it.
What's your point exactly? India doesn't get even half as cold as Serbia during winters so why would anyone here want effective heaters and ventilated seats are becoming common here as well also why exactly should people not get sunroofs on their cars here? Idk what you're trying to get at here

Russians need heated seats, they create the demand for it and get it.
Indians need better air-conditioning, heat insulation, ventilated seats, good headlights but don't create the demand for it.
Example: Tata felt the need to launch an XM(S) variant with a sunroof but not with ventilated seats. In a climate like ours, heat insulation and ventilated seats should be the priority but instead Indians go ahead and create the demand for a special variant to get a sunroof which was originally designed for cold nations who don't get enough sunlight but Indians purchase it so that stupid kids and people can take out their heads out of a moving car and make a reel or snap.

Yes , they should enter with a lot of changes in them if our own companies can make proper 4x4 vechiles for Russia with good cold start features then obviously it will benefit our leh, ladakh, north east as well and we will also benefit from it + we ask a 4x4 from Tata in India as well .

It will be quite challenging for Indian Cos. to enter Russian market, but still a good opportunity. Major challenge will be redesigning for Russian cold and also container shortage for export.
T∆T∆ SUMO back in old days were strong built . It was used in Off-road driving also.
It can still be revived with modern required condition. also MAHINDRA can launch some real tough terrains SUVs.

They should definitely try the Russian markets. Russia has been a great friend of ours for a very long time and it is our time that we help them as well. They obviously pay for the cars but even by only assembling the cars there while importing the main components from India, we can help them in the short run while giving our GDP a good boost and once these are successful, then they can shift to manufacturing as well. I am sure Russians will like these cars if a little bit quality improvement takes place.

Bolero with 4x4 will be the best choice for Russia.. low maintenance, high Horse power, low fuel consumption, high ground clearance, and very cheap.. i am a Bolero driver.. u wouldn't regret what i suggested..sorry to mention that it is pickup truck. Can be use for loading and for passengers travel..

Tata has a perfect opportunity, petrol price is low in russia, as well as expansion can be easily possible. But one thing to note is that JLR is owned by tata, and its main business is in Europe, so they have to take care of JLR as well.

Tata should make a body on frame safari with 4x4 low range transfer case. Pajero, Patrol and Land Cruiser Prado are some of the common vehicles in russia. Tata should make a spiritual rival to compete with those vehicles.
Tata also sells their Xenon in Turkey, Middle East , italy, peru, bolivia, australia and north africa.
