- As much as the game has changed and improved in the last few years, I do sometimes miss the original version of D3, the inferno difficulty, gearing process and trading/Auction House. An official vanilla version from Blizzard could bring back many players that miss those aspects of the game.

D3 Vanilla was way more fun to me than RoS is now. I miss the auction house and the difficulty.

Diablo 3 between 15th may 2012 - 15th june 2012 was the best period in my GAMING life. ;) I loved the old INFERNO + the AH was a good way to get gear for any character. It was a fun aspect of the game as well. A part of Diablo culture is to be able to TRADE. I would play the old game in a heartbeat. I know most CASUAL players think the game is better today, but the guys who likes a challenge liked the old INFERNO. I give the launch game a 10/10 easily. Nothing else mattered in my life the first week Diablo 3 launched. It was all I could think about. It was magnificent.
I remember when i had 9000 dps. Good old days.
I had most fun during vanilla, playing the auction house, getting stuck in act 2 not being able to progress. So cool that the game was actually challenging instead of steamrolling content like it is today.
When paragon 100 was max the game was at its best
I miss CM wizard so much! :( Whish there was an option to play on an old patch...

Vanilla was so much more fun. It was broken, but at least it actually offered a challenge.
Diablo 3 is not fun anymore because there is so much power creep, and no economy = boring. At least vanillla D3 was really challenging making through inferno.
Me and my brother have been waiting for vanilla server d3 since launch of RoS basically, hope one day it comes though with blizz...
I honestly kinda miss the AH, it was kinda fun looking back. I would love if we could get a Trade Post, kinda like an AH but instead of Gold you use the items that the poster want. If we could get current D3 with a Server with AH it would be interesting i think.

i fcking loved the old D3, i had so much fun playing ist with my friend. since RoS we basicly stopped playing D3 because the endless grifting isnt fun. in addition swapping legendaries is simply lame. i miss the excitement of finding a legendary item. RIP vanilla D3
Me too! I loved the difficulty of 1.03 and how it felt to actually progress. The farming, keeping your eye out for those level 61-63 yellows. The scouring auction house for those upgrades, even if they were blues! If they brought that back, i would 100% play.
I would totally play vanilla d3 again. I never beat inferno before the nerf.
I miss the AH so much ....
@Moldran i really want to play vanilla again i hope that we will get vanilla servers at blizzcon it might not happen but im still hoping
