I appreciate the shout out but I was never going for first 100. I was in school at the time and had no where near enough time to compete. I spoke to ingek the guy in 2nd on multiple occasions and I believe he was getting similar xp/hr. Alkaizer did however showed incredible commitment to the grind and it payed off.
Moldran, you forgot to mention that Alkaizer was one guy while others who were trying to beat him were played by multiple players. Speaks even more how incredible Alkaizer runs were
When I hear diablo 3 I think of Cro_ who was probably the most entertaining streamer on twitch. Kingkongor was also fun to watch because he would have nice items but his personality was plain awful.
If I remember correctly there were about 55K people watching Kripp going for world first in D3 on Twitch tv that was the highest audience BY FAR :) at the time. I was one of them. I want a medal! :)
Lol wtf. My uncle and aunt had internet caffe back in the day in Poland. I remember my AUNT playing Diablo 2 with the coffee a lot. She had all fucking characters on lvl 99 man, she loved playing sorcerer. I did not realize until now how big of diablo achievement that was xD
fyi - Jarulf made some complex guide to d2 too. i've read it 10+ years ago. i don't know why there's no copy anymore on internet but D2 was vivisected by him same as D1. he is a real hero of D1+D2.

Well the Paragon Chart looks like Dogshit because 99% of all Players stopped the Grind after they realized Alkaizer is not Reachable anymore. If all of them wouldve kept grinding, a lot of People wouldve been 95+ aswell
If you think that this is "advanced math", then you really shouldn't be saying that your understanding of math is pretty high. This is basic stuff that should be understandable at the high school level. It's not like he is using linear algebra, partial derivatives, ode's, etc.
How do you mention speed runs, and not mention the guy who has the World record for 6/7 of the characters in both any% and any% hell? Teo is easily the best Diablo 2 speed runner. Most of the strategys used by all runners are his.
