  • Freaking out about the CPA Exam changes in 2024? Don't sweat it! This video breaks down everything you need to know about the new format, passing requirements, and how it affects current test-takers. Whether you're just starting out or nearing the finish line, we'll equip you with the knowledge and strategies to conquer the CPA Exam, even with the update. Plus, we've got bonus tips for recent graduates who can still take the current version.
    See the full AICPA blueprints for the 2024 exam changes here: www.aicpa.org/news/article/ai...
    Is the CPA Exam changing in 2024? You bet it is, but not to worry, this full video guide will address all your doubts! The CPA exam is facing a major overhaul starting January 1, 2024 to ensure newly licensed CPAs continue to possess the knowledge and skills necessary to protect the public interest.
    The intent is to make sure that future CPAs will have the competencies they need to meet tomorrow’s accounting challenges.
    For those CPAs in the middle of their journey, the transition policy will definitely affect you. For example, if you pass sections 1 and 2 in 2023 and complete your third section in 2024, you need to make sure your credits are extended to June 30, 2025.
    If your state is approved, then any CPA credits you have as of January 1, 2024 will automatically be extended to June 30, 2025. To date, there are only 5 states that have not approved the extension. Each state board must approve this, but for the full list, visit nasba.org/credit-extension-map/.
    For recent college graduates, you still have time to complete the CPA Exam before changes are implemented. We recommend that you prepare for and complete all four sections of the current exam before the changes come into effect (starting with BEC first!)

    i just barely failed BEC in December 2023. I'm wondering if there's a lot of overlap into ISC (ISC seems like the easiest of the 3 disciplines) and should i try to take ISC (or even BAR) in Jan 2024 while BEC content is still fresh in my mind? Or should i say screw it and just go to taking FAR first like everybody used to recommend?

    OMG!!!!!! I’m finally done!!!!!! 🥳🥳🍾CPA
    After 11 takes and a 5 year break in between, I finally passed. I finally found the perfect source for all the materials I needed to pass all sections of my CPA exam. I thought I could never pass this exam having failed severely on my previous attempts. I started testing in 2015 and my score were:
    08/07/2015 - FAR : 55
    08/31/2015 - AUD : 68
    10/10/2015 - REG : 58
    11/07/2015 - AUD : 68
    05/13/2016 - FAR : 58
    Then in 2022❣️ I subscribed to a member of AICPA Mr Dwayne Jones program and he provided me with my exact materials for every section as I tested. I passed all sections on ONE ATTEMPT within 6 months, was equally working full time. God is great!!!!! My scores were
    FAR : 95
    BEC: 90
    AUD: 87
    REG: 90
    Just posting this because reading peoples success stories really encouraged me to continue pushing forward and that’s how I got to find out about MR DWAYNE JONES. His method is very very easy. God bless him. I will leave his contact info here Text */HELLO I NEED HELP PASSING MY CPA EXAM*/ this number +1 (619) 784 4968 he is Mr Dwayne Jones member of AICPA

    What time of the year would be the most ideal to pass BEC this year? Does it still expire in 18 months if you pass it sometime in 2033?

    • @lukedetering4490
      @lukedetering4490 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Get it done by December 15th. Currently, if you have credit awarded that doesn't expire before January 2024, it will not expire until June 2025 due to a grandfather rule.

  • @joeynavarra391
    @joeynavarra391 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If I take BEC before 2024 and don't pass the other 3 parts within the 18 months. would i have to take the new BEC exams or would i still be grandfathered in?

    • @HERKFOOT21
      @HERKFOOT21 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you're BEC expires, before you pass the other 3, then you lose it and have to take one of the new tests. The good news though is that your 18 month clock restarts Jan 2024. So lets say for example you passed BEC in Jan 2023, that test of BEC will stay valid for 30 months (the 12 months of 2023 + the new 18 month clock restart).
