Im here trying ro understand why people are saying the new disciplines are a bad thing, i think ots great & im going to take tcp because i love being a tax accountant
Passing the CPA exams is when you study hard, if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr Willard.
I feel like TCP is way more relevant on a practical day to day use. Even as an auditor, you always wanna be able to answer “yes” when people ask if you can do their taxes for them.

18 months after you pass your first exam. OR, if your state has accepted the proposed changes, then 30 months after you get your first passing result. More states will be going to 30 months in 2024.
I am struggling between taking the TCP or take BEC before 2024. I have failed BEC twice but passed REG before. I am a tax manager been working in public accounting for 7 years. Not sure how difficult TCP will be for me. Any suggestions?
If you have Becker CPA course, they allow a 30 day trial to let you test each discipline and see which one is best for you. As someone who's worked in tax for nearly 10 years, i am learning towards TCP to. I tried to take REG seven years ago but failed (64). I recently passed FAR and am studying to pass AUD but testing the disciplines while i wait for my results.

I studied for months and couldn't pass, I guess passing is a blessing
CPA exam might seem so tough to pass but studying very hard is a very vital sc. kill to win trust me.
Everyone has their own way, Willard worked for me and studying didn't .
I'm ok with leases but I hate government accounting.
Such precise information sharing, thank you
Pass rates are out and if I had to do it again, I'd pick TCP (I did BAR)
That is helpful to hear! Anything any particular that makes you say that?

@@avernvrey7422 Thanks. Does the 30 month extension get applied in 2024?
@@Xyz-sk7b32 yes, if you live in a state or territory that adopts the rule. Check your state board of accountancy website for updates.
I'm wondering why some states haven't passed it. RI is just retarded
