Imo, If you do not have any accounting background, then you must start with FAR, since the knowledge you learned from FAR will be carried on to AUD and REG, and even BAR, since the majority of the topics from FAR are being moved to BAR.
Superfast CPA, you are the reason why I'm a CPA today. I wouldn't have passed my exams if it weren't for you. I encourage every CPA candidate to take your courses and listen to your advice!
Passing the CPA exams is when you study hard, if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr Willard.
Thank you so much for all your guidance, support and help! Your work not only helps us to study smarter but also to motivate us to keep going! Currently studying FAR and then retaking REG (unfortunately it expired)

I want to start with FAR to get the hardest out the way, but im tempted to begin with a decipline to build momentum. So the IT section it is. Thank you for this
I started my CPA process a while ago. There was one exam passed, many failed and repeated… I think I wasn’t focused enough. AUD has been the hardest because I have no experience in audit and you have to take the exam from an auditor perspective and not the entity being audited (which is where I’ve been sometimes at work) FAR is very long and stressful. I just took BEC (before the change) I hope it went well. I have to say I barely follow the SFCPA method, I was testing the best way to manage it and I think I found it toward the end. We’ll see. My next exam it might be FAR - get that hard core exam out of the way. But based on the chart shown, I’m going to focus on the question and practice exercises (which is what Nate recommend) and go from there. Good luck everyone!
I am CPA, completely agree...FAR is most difficult- i would advise study with combined subject example FAR with BAR as BAR is extended version of FAR or Reg with TCP .. i did study combo (Old syllabus)FAR with AUD and succeeded in sequence.
I am planning on taking ISC since I am better at MCQs and this has the most! Also it has more remembering/understanding and is similar to AUD, which is the one CPA exam I have previously passed.
Takeaway from this video: You cannot just put in time-your time must include true understanding in order for you to get true retention & results! Example: 50 hours of so-so time to get a green check mark from a study course is worth much less than 25 hours of hammering MCQs and “planting the seeds” that help you pass your exam. 🤩
Thanks for the great content Nate! I took BEC in early December so I’m praying I pass. But if I have to retake, I’m leaning towards BAR. It’s information I’m more familiar with, even though I hate the idea of more SIMs
I'd love for you to cover the order to take with the new changes.....Personally, I'm going with FAR-BAR-AUD-REG.....but I'm thinking of switching AUD with BAR's placement because I don't think I'll have enough time to study BAR within the first window
I wouldn't recommend taking FAR under the new score release schedule because you'll have to wait months to receive the score for the hardest test and if you failed you'll have to restudy the material again after studying for the other three tests. Unless you start FAR right before the release date window.
Thank you for sharing this! I took Audit exam last Saturday and now waiting for results. I already passed FAR 1 year ago. I was hoping REG or ISC next. I like that ISC has more memorization MCQS than BAR.
For me hearing your take on what will be hardest in the core areas was helpful. I’ve wanted to take FAR first and will still move forward with that plan. Thanks Nate and Logan and rest of the SFCPA team!
Found your post interesting to watch. I can't wait to see your new videos soon. Good Luck with the upcoming update. This TH-cam channel is very informative and effective.
Thank you for this video. I have yet to pass, but I am restarting and I really appreciate the insight into the new exam. Tell me, do you recommend, taking the corresponding discipline section right after you take the core section? For example, I am starting with REG (only because what I do is more tax related) so I plan on taking TCP after REG. Or would you recommend getting all the core sections done first and then doing a discipline?
I will be studying AUD starting next week. So far my order is going to be AUD, ISC,REG,FAR ...AUD may be the hardest one for me since i have 0 experience. My routine for BEC was all over the place but i plan to have better structure by following the SFCPA method down to the T, no messing around this time 🤣 THANKS NATE!
How has the FAR exam changed from the "old" version? I passed 3 parts some time ago, but got those parts back through the NASBA initiative. Old FAR ,with international and governmental , I never could get past it with two 74s.
I am thinking about studying for FAR while going to school and working full time to have a head start, since my school load will go from full time to part-time. Is that a good idea? 😅
With the new exam - do you still recommend Wiley test prep? I hear a lot of people do well with Roger. I'm looking for a test prep course. What about Gleim?
I have two exams left, AUD and a discipline. I have taken AUD three times and failed, but REG I passed on my first try. My question is, should I take ISC or BAR since I am also studying for AUD? Or should I take the TCP since REG was easier for me?
So a decent amount of what you already learned for REG is now on TCP, so that might be the best one for you. And since you passed REG on your first try, I think you should do TCP.
I am just starting my cpa journey. Plan to start with FAR but have not purchased any review course yet. Is SuperfastCPA solely enough to pass? I'm really trying to avoid buying multiple courses.
Hi I always like your videos you have a good advance for us but I have one question so the changes will be they will request only 3 examens which is AUD, FAR and REG? Thank you again for your videos ❤
I have a question. I only have a bachelors degree I know I can do the cpa but not the license until I have my master but my question is if I pass the 4 examen awhile my licenses it will be on hold until I graduate my master? Thank you
So we don't do tutoring, I'll try not to go on a rant but in my opinion a tutor is like a video lecture in person. It can be helpful, but at the end of the day you need to walk into the testing center and be able to answer the questions yourself, and so learning the skill of de-constructing or "reverse engineering" questions and sims is the most important thing, and that is what our strategies and our study tools is based on. Anyways- the best place to start is by watching one of our free trainings because that goes over our study strategies for free: www.superfastcpa.com/study-secrets/
The key points which you covered in the free webinar are really crucial to be prepared for the exam. I am following the same strategy yet i really think if you grant me a course for FAR for just $30. I would be really obliged. I cleared BEC in November and now i am into FAR planning to appear on Mar'24. I have even seen many of your interviews with those who cleared CPA with the help of your course and application.
Imo, If you do not have any accounting background, then you must start with FAR, since the knowledge you learned from FAR will be carried on to AUD and REG, and even BAR, since the majority of the topics from FAR are being moved to BAR.
But Brother I heard that FAR is the most difficult. How can we survive ???
@@muztahidmustafa1215 The new 2024 FAR is not difficult, way much better than before
Keep doing what you do, you helped me pass the exams when I thought it was impossible. Good luck to 2024 candidates!
Love to hear that, thank you!

what prep course did you use?
@@SuperfastCPA What do I need to do? I have an old email and it is causing conflict in communications. I need a phone number please.
