    I really like doing shrugs with it. After all they don't call it a trap bar for nothing ;)

      For shrugs best equipment ever....
      I love Hex Bar. Even for deadlifts, rows, pendlay, farmer's walk.

    Farmers walk is so amazing! It has improved my grip strength phenomenally and my posture is on point. Hexbar FTW 🙌

    Main pros for me are ability to deadlift without scraping shins and knees and the more compact size fits better in my home gym compared to a 7ft olympic bar.

    Holy shitz. I never realized you could reverse the hex bar to make it a low bar. I've been doing hex bars for ages but never turned the bar upside down. Thank you!!!!

    I can honestly say I learned something new. Always deadlifts but gonna try the Romanian thing and shoulder press next time with it 👍

    My old trainer used to have me do the hex bar deadlift superset by a farmers walk down and back.

    Lower grips , there is a reason the handles are elevated. If you use the lower handles it has alot more leverage over your wrists , and if you slightly grip in the wrong place its hard to keep it stable. Ultimately if you want the bar lower - just stand on something!

    I do the hex bar over head press. I love it. It’s a nice variation for over head movements.

    Great video. My office gym has a rack but the barbell is broken. But there is a legit hex bar, so wanted to find out how to implement big compound movements with just the hex bar. This was perfect.

    I have a double handled hex bar but I've always deadlifted with it, with the exact same posture as with a barbell DL. only with neutral grip.

    I put it on my squat rack and lay under it at an angle and do pullups. I have even benched with it.

    Awesome Mark, I have Rogue trap bar and how many bodybuilder have hernias, mine is a Umbilical but very small and doctor wasn't concerned, can I still use bar?

    Not convinced about the overhead press for safety in case you unexpectedly need to dump the weight due to injury in which case dumbells would be better.

      Some trap bars are meant to be rackable if ur willing to pay more. Best bang for buck is prolly the Titan Hex Bar V2.

    The RDL form wasn't quite perfect. No use to keep going down after your hip can't go back anymore because then the back gets into it.

    I don't like doing a shoulder press SURROUNDED by a heavily-weighted hex bar.
    In a forward or backward unintentional momentum shift, freeing yourself from the ENCLOSURE can be difficult and dangerous.

    The thing I've had to get over with doing less traditional moves with equipment to work other areas is being at the gym and doing and if your not super fit people assume you have no idea how to use the equipment as opposed to I may just be using it for something else, meanwhile a jacked guy does it and they're like wow bro he must be top tier 🤣🤣 like please go tf away

    i don't think that the lower grip makes it more quad dominant! The only change is in the range of motion. Every weight movement below waist is more deadlift (hip dominant) than squat (knee dominant). let me say that i just want to discuss it... i'm not saying that you are wrong!! :)

    I would not recommend doing shoulder presses with a hex bar guys. It can be pretty dangerous
