ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with multi-Grammy-nominated Cuban-born singer-songwriter and actress Camila Cabello claiming her red chair alongside superstar returning coaches John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Carson Daly returns as host for Season 22.
The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts and Live Performance Shows. This season's Battle Advisors include Charlie Puth (Team Camila), Jazmine Sullivan (Team Legend), Jimmie Allen (Team Blake) and Sean Paul (Team Gwen). For the first time ever, the third phase of the competition will include three-way knockouts.
In the Live Performance Shows, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast, and the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Gwen is always underrated as a coach. Her team always has great battles and song choices.
She lacks confidence in herself especially during auditions and it carries through the show. She's a great coach. I wish she knew that deep down.

Honestly going to say something..I never thought I would say..this was one of the best performances of the night..im usually on Blakes team..Gwen and Camilas team brought their A-GAME
@@diamond852 it doesn't carry through. She may not give the best pitches but she's always great at identifying talent, picking great songs, and bringing the best out of her team. This season's battles are already an example of that.
@@cole7726 Exactly right. Gwen doesn't "lack confidence" at all she just doesn't give the best pitches.
I feel like Rowan definitely won this battle. However I will say that Jillian definitely improved greatly since her underwhelming blind audition. She really seemed more comfortable on stage and didn’t seem so anxious. Gwen has seriously gotten better as a coach.

Right?? I've always said that! I remember her first few seasons and she had some epic battles. Some of my favorites still to this day.

I think Jillian is a sword with her crystal clear voice, whereas Rowan has so much control and her voice is so warm in the lower parts. They did both a great job! Not to mention their harmonies, they are dope! They created a battle-duet!

Rowan is a risk taker, she went all the way up on the song. Jillian is equally talented, those low registers hit right & she was smooth. Being a little more expressive can enhance her singing & stage presence.
I think special buttons should be created for giving the verdict.

Both these young ladies are so talented, and so similar. Jillian is a lil more nasal while Rowan sounds more grounded and natural. They did great on the harmonies and emotion. It's so close but Rowan kinda steals my heart. - So You Wanna Be A Singer

What a great song. One thing I absolutely love about this show is how I get to know excellent songs never knew before
Precisely. Same for me, some songs I've never heard before or some I never even liked my until I heard them being sung on the voice. This song is a great example. Wonderful duet, perfect harmony, if the girls collab on a duet album after this that would be awesome.
I liked how encouraging the judges are and I also appreciate how Jillian was supportive of Rowan instead of being sour grapes when they praised Rowan more.

One of my favorite performances of the night. Jillian improved so much since the blinds! I hope she keeps going, but Rowan definitely killed it, she’s on my team and I can see her going far and growing more into a great performer
So, I never heard the original version before. Then the other day waiting for our food at IHOP I heard it on the radio. I actually thought it was this version playing. I couldn't believe how it compares to the original. Unbelievable, truly amazing!
