ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with multi-Grammy-nominated Cuban-born singer-songwriter and actress Camila Cabello claiming her red chair alongside superstar returning coaches John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Carson Daly returns as host for Season 22.
The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts and Live Performance Shows. This season's Battle Advisors include Charlie Puth (Team Camila), Jazmine Sullivan (Team Legend), Jimmie Allen (Team Blake) and Sean Paul (Team Gwen). For the first time ever, the third phase of the competition will include three-way knockouts.
In the Live Performance Shows, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast, and the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Each of them has a core humility that is really great. It seems they both came to this competition show to SING. No ego, just amazing gifted-ness.
Their voices are CRAZY!! He is so dramatic and in control. Really loved how they made this more of a rock song. Lana def gave him a run for his money, but Omar is a force of nature.

@@ZevMeth_originaljewishmusic @Robertantonnyc is correct. It's from Frozen II, but was also covered by Panic! At the Disco. That may be the rock version you're thinking of. Voiceplay did a Frozen II Medley called "Slushy" which also had a part of "Into the Unknown". And the circle is complete. 😁

I've seen him sing in various songs on TH-cam with Voiceplay. Even dressed as an elf and singing a made up language for a video game. High pitched or lower he's right on point and his voice is absolutely beautiful.

That was an awesome song choice for them and they both KILLED THAT! Lana sounded incredible in her parts and was pitch perfect throughout and her belting? Holy moly she has a huge range and could really belt perfectly and Omar was rocking this and sounded FANTASTIC! His belting parts were flawless. I couldn't tell who won because that felt like a draw. Both deserved to move on but if I were John I'd pick Omar as the winner of the battle. I think he has a higher chance with votes. I really believe that Parijita, Kim, and Omar will make the finale.
As a VoicePlay fan, having seen what Omar has done with them, I was not shocked by this performance. He lived up to my expectations. That said, he still knocked this out of the park and demonstrated why VoicePlay loves to incorporate them into their collaborations. He is just as theatrical in his performances as he is vocally talented. Lana did phenomenal as well, hence the reason they are using this performance as a teaser.

WOOW, Omar gave the same spirit that Brendon gave to "Into the Unknown", even the high note on the "Into the Unknown" part, Omar reached the same level as Brendon, which is impressive, since he has an incredible voice.

Omar rocked this. Lana was a tad pitchy in the lower parts of her register and then felt like she couldn't quite belt her way to the top. Omar's voice was steady all the way through, and he mixed his register so well. It felt way healthier and natural. So fun!

I don’t care what anyone says, this is one of the best duos ever! John is such a great coach and knows what he is doing. Such a great video to watch over and over again. Both fantastic but of coarse Omar is my favorite. His vocals are insane. Way to go both of you!! 🎉
They both did great! One electric performance! Omar’s voice fit perfectly for this song! He has such great vocal range and his pitch is amazing! On top of it all his personality seems so kind and humble! No ego, fun and smiling and cheering on Lana! Lana also was super amazing! She really encompassed “Elsa” I thought they were electric together! However Omar won this battle in my opinion! Hands down one of the best battles on the Voice!!! Great job, you both should be so proud of yourselves! Your both amazing singers and I see doors opening for both after the show! ❤😊🥰

It’s called years and years of experience. They’ve been into singing since they were kids. Not only that being full-time singers gave them a wealth of skills and knowledge to be able to sing as flawlessly as they do.

Really incredible. Loved the stylizing and switches between registers during the verse that Lana did, while still belting quite impressively for that not really being her style. Very Versatile singer. Omar is just an unbelievably polished male vocalist. Tone and precision is top notch and he carries so much weight and vibrato even way up there in the rafters. Hardly thins at all.
Ok this is just insane. Both of these humans deserve the highest amount of success that the entertainment industry has to offer and it's not fair that Lanas journey ends here. She belongs on Broadway. Omar is a born rock star. He can sing anything. So can she. Amazeballs.

I am embarrassed to say how many times I have watched this video. Brilliant, (as the Brits say) this was hands down truly a Broadway moment. Now when I think of this song I only hear the two of them in my head, it's as if the song was written just for the two of them. That was truly transcendent I have heard some amazing singers, but Lana and Omar you two are bonified vocalists, and I hope that this exposure gets you both where you deserve to be.

Both of them have amazing voices, very powerful to listen to! Omar has one of my favorite blind auditions of this season but Lana definitely surprised me with her higher register as well! I’m 50/50 on this one!

Absolutely LOVED it, they were both great Lana reminds me of Celine Dion her range is so high....Their voices complimented each other.... I would pick Omar, he could most likely sing anything.. and his performance was top notch❤❤I have already researched other performances that Omar has done! He is in an acapella group, their voices are their only instruments...Just love him!

The fact that someone is going home after this shows the flaw with this format with later acts having an unfair disadvantage. There is zero reason either should be going home here.

This was for sure one of the strongest battles this season. Really excellent vocals and performance from both of them. But I think Omar has something truly unique and intriguing; his voice has so much range and richness, I'd be so excited to watch him perform every week.

Omar is getting a lot of praise and deservingly so but I don't think Lana is getting anywhere near the love she should for her part in this. They were both amazing!
Unfortunately they both couldn’t go through. Both are better singers/performers than many who are still in the show. It’s crazy. Feel like Omar had a slight edge here and I’m glad he won but Lana was exceptional also.
