Honestly was shocked and not because I don’t think Niall has talent but a lot of coaches struggle with arrangement fitting their artists

Actually, Not only Nial arrange this arrangement but also there are other people also behind who to make the actual arrangements. Coaches moreover don't have that much to create such arrangements.

Niall is incredibly unselfish, in my opinion. First of all, he paired these two, knowing it was going to be gorgeous, but he wanted to create the best possible duet. Second, you could see in the rehearsals that he was giving them so many good ideas, but he gave all the credit and love to them. And lastly, he chose Gina, knowing Kala was going to be saved by Kelly. He is 100% here for the artists above all else.
Gina I believe has a higher ceiling and Niall being a more current artist can see what’s best for the future

Gina has such a shy soft speaking voice but my goodness when she sings it's entire different person and voice in the best way. She sounds like no other. Wow 👏
I could see Gina winning this thing. Never thought I’d say that after her audition. Seeing her improvement in just one round is unbelievable. Huge dark horse. Also Niall’s arrangement was so GOOD!

ok, both definitely killed it!! it was such an amazing duet, it wasn’t even a battle, omg. but anyone else saw how sensitive niall was?? look at those eyes just about to cry, i bet he was so much proud of them!!!
the results of this battle were honestly perfect. Gina has such a unique and emotional tone, but nerves and lack of confidence seem to be her main issue so niall will be a great coach in helping her see her own talent. kala on the other hand knows exactly what kind of artist she is, but she’ll need someone to really let her powerful storytelling shine, so kelly is the perfect coach for her. both are going to go far for sure.
What a great perspective! On the show, Kelly even agreed with Blake when he said she can’t coach nerves. Her and Kala have such similar singing styles with their power. Meanwhile, Niall seems to place a lot of emphasis on the emotions and storytelling. Maybe he can help Gina transform those nerves into a way that’ll make her singing sound more vulnerable and immersive. Like how Chance said her shakiness gave her an edge. Hopefully Niall can help her tap into that purposely. I was disappointed with the decision at first, but now I see that both girls are with coaches that suit them best. Thank you for this comment :)

I was hoping him to keep both artists on his team because both are so good and deserve to move forward. He's really on the game and after all, that's what this show is for. hoping Gina will be greater next round. ✨✨✨
She is not nerves at singing. Why people mentioned it?! She just speaks quietly. It doesn't mean of lack of confidence or something. Let her be herself .Just listen to her voice and enjoy.

Funny I thought the moment before where Kala did beautiful high note and won for me! They both are beasts, but Kala for me can literally do everything and then some with her voice. I've been watching The Voice for years and this is up there as one of the best duets to ever come from The Battles. This was otherworldly levels of beautiful
I preferred Kala's audition but have to agree with Niall's point that Gina grew so much from her audition to now, and I feel like you could see her confidence starting to peek through. Kala's fantastic and Kelly's lucky to have her but based on this performance I would have gone with Gina as well.

Gina won this battle at 1:55. It’s those small segments of absolute all star perfection that sets an artist apart. If Gina continuously gives us new creative acrobatic riffs like that week after week, it’ll be what can pull her to the top of this competition.

I come back to this DUET (that’s absolutely what this is-the quality of it being legit Grammy worthy) whenever I feel like getting full body chills and being taken on a lil emotional roller coaster with 2 of THE most beautiful voices (I mean…THEIR TONES! Gina gives me goosebumps 🥺🥺 the most perfect duet I've ever heard ❤
both have such a soft, sweet approach. Gina has a limericky lilt, Kala is more str8-forward and soothing. Nice breathiness from both of them and they grew this very naturally. Can't get that lilt out of my ears. Enchanting!
So Gina has this gorgeous, velvety tone which draws you in. We storytellers often use that warmth when entering a phrase. It really gets the attention of the audience. Kala's dynamics were just brilliant. And I actually prefer her voice. Probably because she obviously has more experience. Gina has so much to work with though and give her more life experience and I think she'll be a force in a few years.
@@alisalavine1052 I believe after hearing some many thousands of voices over the years, my ears really perk up when I hear something "different/special." Gina has that. Idk that I've ever heard anyone who sounds quite like her.
It is her inexperience that will make her rise as Neill builds her confidence. She has the vocals to block everyone out.

I was about to FREAK! Kala can win! Kelly has a potential winner right here🤯🔥! This performance has reaffirmed my love for Kala’s voice! She is a pro! Her choices are ridiculous and had me actually crying! Kala has all the goods and I’m rooting for her to be at least a finalist! The way Blake spoke about Gina’s voice is how I feel about Kala’s voice! Nobody’s voice is like Kala’s. It is so unique and all the inflection in her voice and the way she sing a whispers and then belts and has these cries in her voice is a thing of insanity. I was hooked on every note. Kala’s my top 3!

Personally, I was astounded by Kala's strong but angelic voice. SHE IS BLESSED. I'm not saying I believed Gina was bad, but I was so sad that Kala didn't make it further in the show, for me my favourite moment of this was 1:32, because her voice is so gentle and it just resonated with me so strongly. You can also see Kelly's reaction "oh my god" and im pretty sure we said this in unison. 1:51 followed by Gina's riff also really hit me, and I feel like if Kala would have gotten some harder riffs to do or something more, she could have had a more solid chance with Nial, amazing duet, can't fault it.

These two are absolutely phenomenal together. The harmonies kept giving me shivers. Like genuinely some of the best harmonies I’ve heard in a battle. I’m so glad both of them are still in the competition. You can really tell how much Niall supports them. Seeing him being so proud of them at the end, and then so torn up having to choose between them. They worked so well together I would have struggled just as hard.

I don't think that's the reason he picked Gina. Both Chance and Blake said what I thought, which was that Gina's tone and emotion came through so stunningly. Kala absolutely deserved the steal! I just think Gina deserves every bit of the credit for winning.
