Even if she did make it through America's got idol doesn't mean she can't do it herself people do it all the time she's getting very talented gift from God and she needs to use that Talent keep going don't let nothing take your sunshine away from you just keep going
She has to be very glad not to have won AI because now she can keep all her earnings. With an AI contract you have to give a big portion of your earnings to AI. She is amazing.
This is the girl who sang with Keith Urban on stage when she was 11 yrs old and I didn't know until now that she came to my town Sunriver Oregon to audition until now.

Jennifer Hudson and Harry Styles were both on talent shows and didn't win... but do u know or remember the person that won their seasons??? no. i say that to say that at the end of the day while i do agree that Lauren got extremely robbed by this show, if you are good at what u do, u will find a way to make it in the music industry and im just so happy that Lauren is now getting the credit she actually deserves
Ok let me just say this just sam was great and i do think that if it wasnt lauren then sam was good but i have nevee ever heard a Just Sam song but ive heard plenty or Lairens songs, including on the radio, i think. I mean no hate to sam i think people made the decision partly because of sams home and life situation which is not fair because it doesnt matter where you live to get votes it matters how good you sing but i think that idol has leaned into more sad home life storys.
Lauren 💯 got robbed on that disaster covid season. First she couldn’t get any hometown votes. American Idol let’s Canadians participate, but won’t let Canadians vote like the Americans get to do on the show. And Vancouver alone has 2.6 million population…Also, many were focussing on where she was living when she did her last performance and were not kind-and thought she was very rich and that was the beginning for me where I thought people were following the backstory versus the talent because Just Sam (no hate) won and people fell in love with her story & home situation. Yes I am still bitter as it was not fair to Lauren as she should of been in the final 3. FYI- She sang with Keith Urban when she was younger (the vid is on TH-cam) and was sensational back then. American Idol isn’t about the best voice anymore. Lauren deserved way better! We are so proud of her in Vancouver & on the island!! ❤️ from 🇨🇦 Vancouver ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yet, I always found myself thinking ... the ones with the most phenomenal voices do not need to win any of the reality tv programs because the majority of them end up going nowhere in a musical career. At the age of 16 years, Lauren was definitely phenomenal. The 'winner' of AI that season was just so-so. Her back story gave her the win, not her talent. Today she is back to busking in the subway of New York. Lauren? Well, just look at her now!
