Microsoft should be watching your videos in order to find bugs and fixes. Pretty amazing set up. I imagine if it wasn’t so intricate and people had to learn what everything does, you could probably charge people $20 or more in order to fly a session in that simulator. I think people would pay simply to sit in the second pilot seat and watch you perform these tasks.
That is amazing and I would love to do something like this with a fighter jet for flight combat games.

there are several such simulators in Europe, and they do charge for using it, some have made it a real business, even centers with more than one sim. What most do lack is the motion simulation. A Swiss firm produces even this gadget, but it's not cheap. It's not like the big Level-D sims that airlines use, those are two stories high.

I have a sim racing set up myself, so I understand a tiny bit of what you've gone through here, but man, this really is some next level stuff. Most people are simply impressed with the pure spectacle of your rig, and the skill to fly it, but they do not know the work it takes just maintaining it. One thing I notice with mine is that if I dont use it for a few weeks, or God forbid, months, then I have to relearn how to use the dang thing again. Setting it back up again when I moved into my new place was like learning an ancient language lol.
I really hope they get 2024 in a really good place so you can get some serious enjoyment out of it. I think the fire and rescue stuff will be sweet in your rig. You're right also, without photogrammetry, it really saps the experience. My internet sucks in my new place, and the visuals are a real bummer for me with the stock stuff.

I wanted to ask, are all the devices connected to a single computer, and does this computer run both the game and control all the devices simultaneously? Also, how do you display the scenery outside the cockpit? Are you using a separate monitor for each window, or do you use a projector to show all the outside views at once?

There is also the benefit of not needing the space to build this, i wish i could have one but the VR will do just fine.
