The American routes are notorious for sassy drunk 18 year olds or some kid sitting on phone books to help see the monitor using a hot open mic to ask how to fly the plane.
French ATC was so relaxed, I love it
That's because they aren't the ones that have to navigate the fresh Hell that is the Charles de Gaulle as a passenger.

I love the professionalism of the ATC, it’s like a behind the scene of how this all works in real life. Only random was the ground pounding freak out when taxiing to the gate 😂

I love seeing different communities! I am a DND/RP nerd and it’s so cool see the dedication across different communities.
I never clued in on just HOW realistic this game was until your taxi to the gate at YUL, everything looks exactly right. It's the paint on the skybridges that really got me, such a small detail that adds so much authenticity... giant planes yeeting through a couple terminals notwithstanding. Excellent video, as always, looking forward to the next one.
What sent it home for me was when the plane fell through the ground

The ATC support for a sim game is incredible. I hope to get a fight sim rig in the future and get sunk in to the experience.
Its not the sim but VATSIM
You dont even need a super advancer rig, if you are just starting I'd reccomend a Extreme 3D pro and maybe a saitek throttle

From this previous video, he dropped the flaps, got an overspeed warning, and promptly put them back up
that last minute glitch after 7h25 of great realism flight...I know that frustration feeling...
The mix with the professionalism ATC coupled with the complaining passengers with the baby shitting their diaper was the cherry on top. 👌😂👌

7 hour flight with the APU running the entire time... Operations Director would like to see you in his office immediately.
Don't forget the APU bleed, and both wing and engine anti ice turned on the whole way. Otherwise amazing video.

Being a regular passenger on this journey, I must say the reality of this simulation is spot on. Plus I like the difference of accent between French ATC and Quebecer ATC.

Noticed that the cockpit is an A319/320/321 model as there are only two battery buttons. A330 has a different overhead panel with a third battery button (APU Batt). Also, wasn't featured in the video but the hydraulics panel is different. I'm sure there are a few more differences but I can't think of any on the fly. I would have to reference the panels and/or my checklists.
Side note, the A350 panel layout is familiar to other airbus panels but is overall totally different.
Y'all probably knew this but I just noticed it and got excited that I could pull knowledge from my job to spot the difference.
Fun to see you flying out of my home airport for maybe the first time on this channel? Sucks I wasn't available when this event happened because France is usually far emptier on VATSIM compared to its neighbors, probably because of the bilingual requirement for controllers. But when they are online, the controllers are always very chill. I definitely recognized this one.

You are correct, there are some really nice planes within the sim, but all I fly is the fenix a320, the sws kodiak 100, flight fx vision jet….although I do fly the TBM 930, but after today that is probably done now that the blacl square tbm 850 is out.

i remeber aircraft simulator like 20 years ago. this is amazing!
Just flew this not too long ago. Leaving Paris was amazing, pretty clear all the way through. Got to see quite a bit of the French countryside and I think on the way from Montreal to Paris a couple weeks before, I saw the Cliffs of Dover from the plane.....I think. Really scenic flight if you get lucky with clouds and visability. You also come in on a awesome path into Trudeau again if youre lucky enough to come in on a clear day. Not quite downtown Montreal, but still really cool approach.
