While I was doing so I started writing down the costs and expenses just like Linda did it and I got very bizarre looks from the leasing agents as I calculated my rent and expenses by hand. As I was almost finished doing my math the person asked why I wasn't using a calculator. I responded I'm not sure I can do it this way and it only takes a few seconds I wasn't thinking about my calculator. It was crazy. I was getting shamed by doing math by hand. Not really but the leasing lady thought I was a but weird.
