The rug!!! Oh my; the colour turned out so stunning!!! I need to try this with a rug and sheets and pillowcases!!! This is such a great affordable way to get those earthy trendy tones in your space without spending a fortune!! I love 🤩
I'm not normally a fan of orange but that turmeric orange just glowed like a sunset. It's gorgeous. And the wall art if very pretty and creative. Clever girl.
I'm a dumpster diver and I found several massive bags of turmeric... Now I know what I'll be doing with them! Thank you like always for the awesome diys ❤️
I love that you used natural methods of dying! I actually have a similar rug that has some stains...so it's good to know that I could potentially just dump a bunch of coffee on it 😂
Both are beautiful, but I am soooo in love with that wall hanging. Because of you and Lone Fox, I'm obsessed with DIYing yarn wall hangings. I'm definitely going to do this one (with my own spin). Thank you for always inspiring me, MaCenna. It was you that got me DIYing again. I look forward to a new vid from you every Sunday. Love you, girl! 😍
Both projects are so gorgeous! The only reason I will pick the yarn project as my favorite is because you are making us pick one. :-D Also, simply because the project had more creativity to it, turning whatever it originally was in to such beautiful wall art! Love the color/technique of the rug.....awesome!
I saw your boho bedroom DIY and the jersey fabric wall hanging I thought would have been so pretty naturally dyed with coffee, avocado pits, etc! So glad you tried out the turmeric dye in this video, looks amazing! ✨
Both of these projects turned out really awesome!!! My favorite is definitely the “macrame” wall hanging! The colors mixed very well together and looked amazing!
Another 2 awesome recreations. BRAVA !!!!!!!! I would love to see another collaboration with Drew Fox. The Sorry Girls went to IKEA and up cycled only from what they could find from the AS IS section.....you guys could make something incredible, I am sure !
I'm rewatching this, because I saw the macrame coasters you did on the video you posted today and thought it'd be cool if they were dyed like this rug. Anyway, I just nearly died laughing when Kinsley ran across the couch in the background at 10:52 😂 I swear being quarantined has really helped me find joy in all the little things like that ❤ I hope you're staying safe, thanks for still posting videos through this crazy time!
My goodness. You’re so talented!!! You see such potential in things I wouldn’t look twice at. And the colours, techniques, and style are always epic. Everything looks so professional at the end. Other people make DIY that looks like DIY. You make stunning art out of everything you do.
After you did your kitchen update and showed the rug, I ordered it from Target ! Love it!!!! My kitchen isn’t as nice as yours but the colors are what I wanted!!! Love you and your videos!!! Thank you. I just did some dying myself but I used Rit dye in my washer for updating some older towels into a brighter green . Also love how they turned out
That rug! OMG it looked so cheap and tiny when you bought it and now somehow it looks expensive but also bigger LOL! You are seriously a miracle worker and I love the turmeric color and technique.
Macenna! I love your flea market flip videos, please do more! I have always preferred buying second hand to reduce my carbon footprint, and these videos give me such a great inspiration! Please do more! 💚💚💚
You have a gift for seeing design possibilities and creating beauty out of bleagh. I was skeptical when I saw that round iron thing (a shoe rack in its previous life?) And the rug was okay but uninteresting. You turned both into something eye-catching! Always enjoy your videos.
I used to tell my students that Turmeric is great for an easy home eco dye, however, as its a fugitive dye (non fast) sunlight will fade the colour, so dry in the shade. But it's easy to top up again with another dye bath. The great thing is if you play with acidity and alkaline levels you can change the colour. Try adding iron (ferrous sulphate) to get a whole range of colours x
Love the rug! Firstly natural ingredients are the best, especially if u have pets or children, also commercial dyes are actually super expensive, at least were I live and not readily available so I'm sooo happy with the natural dying recipe, also how u gave examples of other colours u can achieve which shows u did your research. Great ideas! Just one question tho, does the rug give off a smell of turmeric and if so, how long before this leaves?
I love both of these thrift flips!! The rug dye is so organic, love that and the wall hanging is so interesting and intricate details too!!! We have won😍😍😍
Girl that color turned the rug such a beautiful almost a mustard color and I was wondering what you was going to do with the rod iron you bought very nice until Sunday tfs
Last year I ask my coworkers to keep their avocado pits. I dyed a duvet cover that was faded with it. It turned out great! A nice browny pink. Next one I'll try is the onion skin with a pillowcase :) Your wall hanging is so cool! Good job MaCenna!
I love all of your thrift flip videos but this one was MY FAVORITE ♥️ I am obsessed with that rug 😍 and i’m definitely going to make a version of that wall hanging! You are so creative!!
Oh myyy goodness girl! I LOVE this rug sooo much and NOW I want to do it! I knew you could dye with fresh veg and fruit BUT had no idea I could actually use the "powdered form" so thanks so much for the help! The wall piece turned out awesome too...... I know it's silly and but I did a string light with the glue and THEN I macrame'd my cord. I haven't done any of this since I was a kid and it's like learning all over again. ;) I've gotten crazy amounts of compliments on that light! ALL because of YOU Miss MaCenna... Just cannot thank you enough!
The rug: wow. Just wow. So going to do this, I was expecting for you to use a chemical ink and I thought that will be hard to find, and then you explained how to achieve this color with natural ingredients. So freaking cool. Love, looooooove this. ❤️❤️❤️
Love what you did! You're a heart after my soul! (It's an old saying). The wreath hanging is so utterly creative - I was eyeing those yarns with envy as I'm a knitter! The dyeing with the tumeric had me laughing as you were so worried about it staying in the rug! I was worried it would get on your top and stain it- and guess what if it did you'd never get it out. My husband and I cook with tumeric alot as it helps with aches and arthritis. I have stained tea towels where it won't come out and even my laminate countertop has stains I can't get out!...You're really very knowledgeable about dyes, which is something that's been a great interest for me for a number of years! Great video, so enjoyed it!💕😊
I loved that metal ring and the different levels, it turned out so cool, I love the colors of yearn you used, and that color you dyed that rug is the bomb, such a gorgeous color, one of the most beautiful mustard colors I have seen in a long time. Thanks so much for these DIY's this was such a fun video, you give me such inspiration to find things similar to create my own DIY. Bye for now.
I love that you don't just redo Pinterest ideas and explain every single step so well. Also it's nice that you say 'we' not 'I'. It makes me feel more part of every project 😊😉
agreed! I also love how you take everything you used into the budget/cost! So many people do "budget diys" but don't take into account things like spray paint, stain, glue etc.
I love the color the rug turned out. I don't need a yellow rug, but I sure could use some throw pillows that color! Off to find some cheap fabric, or maybe a dropcloth, to dye!
Madonna, I am so glad I found your channel! I really love the wall hanging💓💓 Reminds me so much of things my mom did when I was a kid! Thank you, keep up the great work!
OMG! I love it, I think if I go to one of those markets I would return empty-handed. Thanks to you I can see everything that can be done with things that others do not need. I love the colors you use! XO
The rug!!! Oh my; the colour turned out so stunning!!! I need to try this with a rug and sheets and pillowcases!!! This is such a great affordable way to get those earthy trendy tones in your space without spending a fortune!! I love 🤩

Hahah yasssss!!!
Wow these came out GORGE!! I’m so amazed by that turmeric! I thought it wasn’t going to be that vibrant! and the yarn wall hanging!? Genius!!
You are hands down one of my favorite people on youtube. I only have four. You are sweet and you own your crafting whole heartily.
I love your flips. They have such a high end look for an affordable price. I look forward to your postings every Sunday. Thank you.
I love, love, love that rug and the dying technique. You’re amazingly talented. Always look forward to Sunday morning just to see what you create.
Aww thanks so much 🥰
Me too!!
Both projects are so gorgeous! The only reason I will pick the yarn project as my favorite is because you are making us pick one. :-D Also, simply because the project had more creativity to it, turning whatever it originally was in to such beautiful wall art! Love the color/technique of the rug.....awesome!
Your idea for the metal ring was genius!!! Love how that turned out. And that rug?! WOW!! Gorgeous, gorgeous color!
Absolutely the yarn makeover, is just to die for. I love all your finds and makeovers.
The wall hanging DIY was EVERYTHING! Thank you for such beautiful and inspiring content!
WOW! That rug color is gorgeous!! I love the wall decor, but the rug just does it for me!! Great job MaCenna!
Another 2 awesome recreations.
BRAVA !!!!!!!!
I would love to see another collaboration with Drew Fox. The Sorry Girls went to IKEA and up cycled only from what they could find from the AS IS section.....you guys could make something incredible, I am sure !
I love that you incorporated the mustard yellow in both pieces. One of my favorite colors right now. I like both ideas.
Omg! Your pup running over the couch in the background at 10:53 😍😍😍
I'm rewatching this, because I saw the macrame coasters you did on the video you posted today and thought it'd be cool if they were dyed like this rug. Hahah!! 100,000,000% I thought the sameeee thing I was like dang I wish I had more tumeric 😋
These two were a pure gift. You got the gift and I get to receive it. Thank you.
This is one of my most favorite flips you’ve done, I can’t wait to try out the turmeric dye! Maybe on a natural canvas tote bag?
Obsessed with the turmeric rug😍😍
🥰
My goodness. You’re so talented!!! You see such potential in things I wouldn’t look twice at. And the colours, techniques, and style are always epic. Everything looks so professional at the end. Other people make DIY that looks like DIY. You make stunning art out of everything you do.
Love, love, love the natural dye. Those bottled beets in my pantry are going to be put to use!
The dog running across the couch in the background!! ❤️❤️🐶❤️
plus your DIYs are so cute... love the first one. and every time i see your dining room shelf and water color paint, i'm just like 😍
After you did your kitchen update and showed the rug, I ordered it from Target ! Love it!!!! My kitchen isn’t as nice as yours but the colors are what I wanted!!! Love you and your videos!!! Thank you. I just did some dying myself but I used Rit dye in my washer for updating some older towels into a brighter green . Also love how they turned out
O yay!!! So happy you got the rug from target! It’s such a great one!! 🥰
That rug turned out awesome. Love the color because it's so vibrant.
The wall hanging was my fave, but I love that turmeric dye idea!
*Love* both these flips, MaCenna! That turmeric yellow really has me inspired to bring some yellow into my space!
That rug! OMG it looked so cheap and tiny when you bought it and now somehow it looks expensive but also bigger LOL! You are seriously a miracle worker and I love the turmeric color and technique.
Righttt soooo much better 🥰
Love love love that color! And love that it was dyed naturally! Very pretty!
Everyones talking about the rug, but that wall art is breathtaking wow

“Until the water is running through it” hehe as her little doggie runs past on the couch 🙊
Love, love, love these DYI’s❗️Love the turmeric dye idea!! But I think the wall art is just so an unique and clever idea❣️🙌🏼🥰
I loved the wall hanging! It would be fun to see you make more of those out of random finds!🤗
That rug is awesome! 😍🤗
🥰
Your videos are so amazing! You have such an eye for style and you make the most beautiful things!!!!!! LOVE YOUR CHANNEL IM OBSESSED!!
Macenna! I love your flea market flip videos, please do more! I have always preferred buying second hand to reduce my carbon footprint, and these videos give me such a great inspiration! Please do more! 💚💚💚
Yay!! I’m so glad 🥰
Loving the vibrant yellow rug, I think I will try that at home! I really enjoy your thrift flip/DIY videos.
You have a gift for seeing design possibilities and creating beauty out of bleagh.
I was skeptical when I saw that round iron thing (a shoe rack in its previous life?) And the rug was okay but uninteresting. You turned both into something eye-catching!
Always enjoy your videos.
I liked the circle wall art, but I loved the tutorial on for the rug! You really inspired my inner interior designer, thank you!
The dye for the rug is beautiful! It turned out fantastic!!
I could see taking some black yarn and sewing through the rug with a pattern. Loved that color
I love that you are so boho, farmhouse is nice. Everyone does it. You are a refreshing break. Thank you Many Blessings Mea 🙏💜
I absolutely LOVED them both, but that rug turned out amazing! That color 😍
I love both ideas, but the rug dyeing looked fun! You’re so creative 😊👍
Love the first piece. You’re very creative. I wouldn’t have thought to do that design.
The rug turned out beautiful!! I love the wall hanging too but that RUG!!! 🥰 I think your my spirit animal. 💖
Omg such a good wall art design! After watching the last video, I could not picture what you would do with that but you nailed it!
I used to tell my students that Turmeric is great for an easy home eco dye, however, as its a fugitive dye (non fast) sunlight will fade the colour, so dry in the shade. But it's easy to top up again with another dye bath.

I love the wall art and the rug turned out beautifully. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much!!! 🥰
You are such an artist! Thanks for sharing your techniques and tricks!
Thank you so much & of course 🥰
The rug was definitely the coolest!
I’m obsessed w that rug!!!! I love how it’s lighter in some areas n darker in others 😍😍😍
I did not expect to like the wall hanging after I saw the flea market finds. However, I really like what you did with it. It came out amazing!
Soooo incredibly obsessed with the wall art!!
Wow! I’ve never seen anything naturally dyed! So cool!
I love the turmeric dye idea, now I need to find something to dye. I’m thinking about a macrame plant hanger that I already have
Love that you went the natural route, such a gorgeous color!💛
Love both of these flips. I’m going to try both. Can’t believe I never thought of dying stuff with food 😲💖
Love the rug! Thanks so much!!! The rug has zero turmeric smell I was surprise!
@@XOMaCenna thanks so much for replying! And I'll have to try it out?
This is my favorite flip you’ve done! I LOVE the rug!!

Girl that color turned the rug such a beautiful almost a mustard color and I was wondering what you was going to do with the rod iron you bought very nice until Sunday tfs
Rod iron or wrought iron?
Last year I ask my coworkers to keep their avocado pits. I dyed a duvet cover that was faded with it. It turned out great! A nice browny pink. Next one I'll try is the onion skin with a pillowcase :) Your wall hanging is so cool! Good job MaCenna!

Yes Love this, my fave was part 1 and the wall hanging! Please keep up these videos as up-cycling is so important.
I love them both but if I have to choose, the wall hanging turned out incredible!
The wall art is definitely a conversation piece.
I like both of them. But the wall art was stunning. Would like to see different flea markets. Think it would be fun. Loved the video of your trip.
The rug looks beautiful ! Love the color ! Also love the music to your channel !!
You make the best diys.. they are just so neat and look professionally made
