This is the nicest macrame project I've seen. I'm not into wall hangings but this is sublime. I can't wait to do it myself. I subscribed to you about a month ago and you have beautiful style.
Finished product is fabulous. Will probably put it on my ToDo list. I have only been macrame-ing for a few months but love every piece I do. The tutorials on TH-cam are fabulous and the appreciation and acknowledgment of our comments is shown, but not here. Has anyone ever received a heart, like or comment from the MaCenna channel?
I found your channel yesterday night, its early morning now and im excited to watch the rest of your videos. You are SO underrated. I dont understand how i didnt know about you or your channel, you are SO SO funny, smart and not to mention beautiful ! And your DIY skills? WOW. You deserve many more subs !
Love this project, just watched someone else who loves macrame and was thinking about giving it a go. Thankyou for the tutorial I will be giving it a go xxx
I love this diy macrame pillow..really hope i dare to give a try..look quite complicated but i really enjoyed watching your video..like it very much this pillow
Back in the 70's I made 2 macrame purses and lined them and put zippers in them (one was for my sister). I also made an owl hanging and a towel hanger. When I moved 6 years ago and downsized, I gave away the purse I made and towel hangers, as well as my macrame books. Now of coarse it's all back in style! But for now, I think I'll stick with my knitting.
So am gonna try this I have sooo many extra pillows that only work for an old color I used to use in my room so being able to make different covers to change them out will be awesome thanks!
This was the first video I watched of yours back in 2019. I wanted to go back and watch a few of the first videos you did rediscover the first video I watched 😅
McCenna thank you so much. I was a teenager in the '70's, was interested in macrame' but didn't learn. Your instruction is so learner friendly. I am gaining so much info from you. I ordered a book n macrame' cord, but now I know not enough cord. When I get my next order I will be looking at your saved DIY's again to make sure I get it correct. Again, THANK YOU!!!
I remember all these wall hangings from the 70's. However, they used wooden beads where you use gold tube beads. Sometimes, ceramic beads were used. You keep me enthralled. Thanks!
@@XOMaCenna I m just finishing to watch all your videos. Even the Christmas ones already. LOL. Keep going girl you are very talented and your videos are very entertaining.
Hey girl! I just found you recently and you are my new fav TH-camr! Love your personality! Quick question: Which macrame yarn/cord do you use and where do you get it? I had a really hard time brushing mine out! Thanks! Xoxo
Hi MaCenna! I really like this pillow case and think it actually might be something I can do. Could you link the macrame you used please? You described it as yarn and not cord and I wasn't sure if those were different (clearly a beginner haha)
I’ve become obsessed with macrame diy. Well watching the videos anyway. I still have yet to attempt it just yet. Im getting supplies this weekend to give it a try. This video has been amazingly helpful! You are very skilled and your video was informative and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing! I make diy videos too and if I succeed at macrame I’ll most likely make a video of it. Anyway I would love it is we could support and learn from each other.
So cute!! I can’t wait to make this. I have a question about the fringe. Do you find that some cord fringes easier than others? Also, is it easy to keep untangled now that it’s being used? Thanks!!
This is gorgeous and a nice sized project for learners to start on I think as it is small compared to wall hangings. Your instructions are so clear. One question, can it be washed, like hand washed, or not?
