When he helps Gon and Killua in the Greed Island arc he just mostly do it for shits and giggles while waiting for Kuroro's treatment. Hisoka also loves to edging himself and savor his victims. So it was win-win to him. But after losing to Kuroro Hisoka became obsessive with him. It's just like yandere girls in anime, he wants to hurt him cause he obsessed with him. Something like that. He would be bum out when find out that Gon is out of commission. But we'll won't find it out because it'll be last big arc anyway.

So here is an explanation for anybody who doesn't read the manga: eventually, Hisoka got to fight Chrollo in the Heaven's Arena, and got whooped BADLY. Reason is, chrollo borrowed the powers of the other members, so he came to the fight prepared. Hisoka, however, didn't prepare. He died in battle, but managed to bring himself back to life by enveloping his heart and lungs with his Bungee Gum, and made his Nen act naturally to revive himself. After that, he kills 2 of the troupe members, Kortopi and Shalnark. He let Machi live though (for now) so that she can warn the other members Hisoka is coming after them all. Reason why Hisoka wants to kill them is so Chrollo can't use the other members abilities next time he fights Hisoka.
This is one of the reasons why I love hisokas character, he’s unpredictable. It’s hard to tell what’s his motivations are or maybe he’s just a serial killer.

I am a Japanese fan. I do not speak English. The great thing about Hisoka vs. Chloro is that members of the Phantom Troupe may have cooperated with Chloro while hiding in the audience seats. Chloro first explained all his abilities in the camouflage of fighting alone. If it is true that they were fighting together, it can explain all the discomfort that Hisoka felt during the fight. After Hisoka came back to life, he realized that there was a joint struggle in Machi's words, and it is believed that he killed Scharnak and Coltopi so as not to interfere with the one-on-one fight with Chloro.

Can I just say that whoever made this edit did a fantastic job. One of the best manga vids i've seen. It feels like actual care was put into making it because you want viewers to actually understand the story, instead of it just being a slideshow of the panels really quick in order. The translations were better, other panels were put in to add context, edits were done to emphasize certain panels and the music was top tier. Good job!

Machi has nerves of steel. Imagine being Chrollo. You did nothing to give this psycho a reason to chace you down for years trying to kill you for shits and giggles. Compared to all the people that have a reason to target Chrollo for revenge and don't get close. Chrollo realizes there is no way to stop Hisoka unless he himself kills him, goes out of his way to get specific abilities to kill him, kills him and surprise the crazy magician is still coming after you! This fight was good, I hate to be that guy but imagine what could have been if Hisoka, after getting his hand blown up, remembered his fight with Gon in heavens arena and instead of kicking the tiles through the ceiling he attached his bungee gum to them and used those tiles, hmm?

If Hisoka attached bungee gum to the floor tiles and sent them flying around knocking some puppets heads off and crashing into the puppets and the stands that'd have turned Chrollos organized meticuously planned attack into mayhem that favors Hisoka with puppets tiles and debris flying around. Hisoka could have 'won' in that type of environment with Chrollo using convert hands to fight for a bit before eventually sneaking out. The funny thing about this is everything else would be the same as far as the storyline goes. Hisoka and the troupe would still both be on the black whale hunting each other.
@@emdeda2018 Chrollos ability is really a wild card for Togashi. He can pretty much write whatever whacky abilities he wants for Chrollo for the sake of a fun fight. Personally I think post-nen Hisoka can beat Chrollo. But we'll prob never know. No chapters for 2+ yrs.
So as far as I understood it, his post death nen now allows his bungee gums to recreate into the shape of limbs which he can fine control. Previously all the texture surprise did was act as glue to patch over onto his limbs to hide damage.
As far as I understand, his rubber nen is indeed capable of recreating missing parts - maybe even able to create completely new objects that are not parts of his body. Texture surprise now doesn't need any materials except Hisoka's nen in order to replace one substance to another.

Theory is most likely every member of the spiders during the voyage will be kill except for Illumi, Kalluto, and maybe Machi. I believe Illumi is secretly working with Hisoka by being a spy for him. Illumi will not kill any of the members but instead just lure them in towards Hisoka. Only killing them if they caught on about his involment with Hisoka. By the near end of the voyage, the last members standing will be Chrollo, Kalluto, and Machi. Hisoka finally confronts Chrollo and their final battle begins. Machi will try to interfere but stop by Illumi and Kalluto at the last minute. Hisoka kills Chrollo while Machi watches. Machi will ask Hisoka to kill her but Hisoka refuses and ask her to get stronger so she can take her revenge. Reason being either Hisoka is still horny about Strong opponents hoping this will motivate her getting stronger or he still has a little soft spot for Machi.
Well we know that the next person in the phantom troupe to die is most likely shizuku from the fortunes that they read in the earlier arcs. Cuz based on the fortune shalnark was going to die if he picked up the phone call, which he did, and we know that the fortunes can never change so shizuku is next die since it says she will meet her end in the chamber of treasure so the ship going to the DC.
Those two members are not combat based, also both of them had no hatsu. Replace Shalnark and Kortopi with Phinks and Feitan, Hisoka is not pulling that shit off.

DEATH CAUSE: BLOOD LOSS AND DECAPITATEMENT.

And Hisoka realized that the Machi's remark "Choose your opponent and the location" means "You did not fight with the opponent you chose", Hisoka convinced that the members helped Chloro in battle →Because Hisoka thought Scharnark and Coltopi should still be nearby, Hisoka went to "find" Scharnark and Coltopi →Because Machi noticed that Hisoka going to find two helpers who should be nearby, Machi informs to Scharnark by phone that hisoka went to kill

If I am correct, then Machi was so close to being killed right then and there. Togashi said somehow he decided not to even though he was originally planning to kill her then. He believes she will play important role in the future. Probably she'll die taking down Hisoka after Hisoka has killed most, if now all, spider members.
When Hisoko is his own plastic surgeon and resurrector, he can do it all, I always saw him as the orochimaru of hunter hunter, he comes back all the time and his obsession with gon is like that of saskue that orochimaru has, both are great characters, I was rooting for hisoka to win this fight

I wonder how much of hisoka’s body could be “reproduce” out of his rubber. Like there has to be a limit right? At what point does he become more rubber than human, and if he just kept going would that make him weaker over time because he sort of had to keep it up? At some point if he just kept reconstructing himself, would getting injured again do next to nothing because it’s not even his real body anymore?

Can I just say that whoever made this edit did a fantastic job. One of the best manga vids i've seen. It feels like actual care was put into making it because you want viewers to actually understand the story, instead of it just being a slideshow of the panels really quick in order. The translations were better, other panels were put in to add context, edits were done to emphasize certain panels and the music was top tier. Good job!

Machi has nerves of steel. Imagine being Chrollo. You did nothing to give this psycho a reason to chace you down for years trying to kill you for shits and giggles. Compared to all the people that have a reason to target Chrollo for revenge and don't get close. Chrollo realizes there is no way to stop Hisoka unless he himself kills him, goes out of his way to get specific abilities to kill him, kills him and surprise the crazy magician is still coming after you!
This fight was good, I hate to be that guy but imagine what could have been if Hisoka, after getting his hand blown up, remembered his fight with Gon in heavens arena and instead of kicking the tiles through the ceiling he attached his bungee gum to them and used those tiles, hmm?

If I could draw I'd draw it myself. If Hisoka attached bungee gum to the floor tiles and sent them flying around knocking some puppets heads off and crashing into the puppets and the stands that'd have turned Chrollos organized meticuously planned attack into mayhem that favors Hisoka with puppets tiles and debris flying around.
Hisoka could have 'won' in that type of environment with Chrollo using convert hands to fight for a bit before eventually sneaking out.
The funny thing about this is everything else would be the same as far as the storyline goes. Hisoka and the troupe would still both be on the black whale hunting each other.

So as far as I understood it, his post death nen now allows his bungee gums to recreate into the shape of limbs which he can fine control.
Previously all the texture surprise did was act as glue to patch over onto his limbs to hide damage.
As far as I understand, his rubber nen is indeed capable of recreating missing parts - maybe even able to create completely new objects that are not parts of his body.
Texture surprise now doesn't need any materials except Hisoka's nen in order to replace one substance to another.

Theory is most likely every member of the spiders during the voyage will be kill except for Illumi, Kalluto, and maybe Machi. I believe Illumi is secretly working with Hisoka by being a spy for him. Illumi will not kill any of the members but instead just lure them in towards Hisoka. Only killing them if they caught on about his involment with Hisoka. By the near end of the voyage, the last members standing will be Chrollo, Kalluto, and Machi. Hisoka finally confronts Chrollo and their final battle begins. Machi will try to interfere but stop by Illumi and Kalluto at the last minute. Hisoka kills Chrollo while Machi watches. Machi will ask Hisoka to kill her but Hisoka refuses and ask her to get stronger so she can take her revenge. Reason being either Hisoka is still horny about Strong opponents hoping this will motivate her getting stronger or he still has a little soft spot for Machi.

Well we know that the next person in the phantom troupe to die is most likely shizuku from the fortunes that they read in the earlier arcs. Cuz based on the fortune shalnark was going to die if he picked up the phone call, which he did, and we know that the fortunes can never change so shizuku is next die since it says she will meet her end in the chamber of treasure so the ship going to the DC.
