If I am correct, then Machi was so close to being killed right then and there. Togashi said somehow he decided not to even though he was originally planning to kill her then. i thought that hisoka was gonna attack machi and maybe even kill her- that would have been such a sudden shock. maybe saying something like "starting with you" with the next frame being the cinematic 'sword/arm coming through the chest" betrayal shot; that would have been incredible. the writer really missed an opportunity.

Interestingly enough HxH is trying to be a pretty realistic fantasy world. Humans and their abilities can get enhanced Nen but outside of that, they are still pretty much (looking at Zoldic) within a standard spectrum. Hisoka here was after the fight effectively dead for quite some time. For a dozen minutes at the very least from the looks of things. If he would wake up like this he would be severely retarded from brain oxygen deprivation. Which is somehow more scary. Imagine Hisoka going at it Leatherface style. :D

Can I just say that whoever made this edit did a fantastic job. One of the best manga vids i've seen. It feels like actual care was put into making it because you want viewers to actually understand the story, instead of it just being a slideshow of the panels really quick in order. The translations were better, other panels were put in to add context, edits were done to emphasize certain panels and the music was top tier. Good job!
