nice i like deeper keyboards but nonetheless amazing. maybe try some other mods like tape mod.
can you also post a soundtest without case foam, pcb foam and pe foam

Hello, I am thinking of buying a custom keyboard. In my mind, I was torn between these four : monsgeek m1, weikav sugar65, leobog hi75 and hj snake al75. Which one do you think I should choose? sugar65 and al75 have fr4 plate. Is this a plus?
Down to personal preference really. I started on 75s and probably still my favourite layout for a balanced trade-off between size and functionality. Haven’t reviewed the Leobog or Snake so you’ll probably need to decide what you like 😊.
FR4 is a bit stiffer and gives a bit more clack compared to say PC. Again, not a plus or minus, just your preference for a stiffer typing experience with clack or some flex with thock respectively.
@@atomechkeebs If I include monsgeek m1 in the list, which one would be better? sugar65 or monsgeek M1? Or can you recommend an affordable aluminum DIY kit?
@@noweanji what’s your budget definition of affordable. The Sugar and M1 is about $60 difference between them.
@@atomechkeebs The maximum amount I can pay, including shipping, is 130$-140$. I cannot pay more. There is also the finalkey v81 plus model. It is said that it has a good keyboard inside. If I'm going to stay on the 75% side, I might include it in the list.
@@noweanji yeah, if 75% then I would stand behind the M1W and LMK81. Final key I didn’t review, but should be plenty of other reviews around.

I don’t have this keyboard anymore; will try out cherry’s if I get a chance on another build.
