- This is part one of the Audi TT interior teardown. I am doing this to clean out the interior but there are plenty of reasons to do it. Below is list of the items I am taking out and links to jump right to them in the video. Enjoy!

Hi, I am wonder to see the next part or episode of disanbling and cleaning and restoring your TT Audi, I have one and I want to know how to do it, mainly the front console where the stereo is , because my TT door is brok nand I want to change it, please let me know how to do it! Carlos
Can you show how to remove the drivers door panel and driver trim (to the side of the steering wheel). Im getting flooding into the drivers footwell. Im trying to work out if its from the door or from the windscreen and leaking between the door and dashboard
I really enjoyed your video TH-cam. I have the same mk1 convertible. The sun did damaged the push-in plastic button, located at shoulder level on the passenger side, to release the convertible tonneau cover. I pushed it in and it broke off fell off inside. I wonder what is the button called, where to buy and how to replace it. Thank buddy.
Hi, thank's your video is the best, I want to install a hardtop on my TT, but i didn't have the originale wiring connection for this, i have order the bracket mounting roof but my TT didn't have the wiring to put on the bracket, do you know where i plug the wire behind the Seat ?

Where do I find part two? I am trying to access the roof motor on a 2001 right hand drive car, exactly the same as the one you are stripping here. I need ot get the CD Changer out of the way, I think, from behind the passenger seat.

Hi I have the same model but I do not have anymore the plastic panel that was used to cover the roof once it was open and in its place behind the seats . Do you know where I can find one ?
I have a 2008 TT - the silver trim on the center console has come apart from the black trim. How do I reattach? I've tried super glue and no luck

Headrests can not be lowered on a TT !
I've read online that you pop off the plastic pieces where the headrests go into.. then theres a little hole you put something in, and they go up and down
Hey, I know this video is old but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the connectors to the door unlock and windguard. There are no visible tabs. Any suggestions?
Anyone know how to do a teardown of the seat upholstery? I have new leather covers but not sure how to get the plastics off of the back of the seat.

My center console cracked and broke in several places when I tried to take it out. I can't believe how brittle the plastic was.

2000 Audi tt.
Does anybody know how to fix fuel cap release button.
I checked the button and it looks fine.
I open my fuel cap manually from inside the trunk.
But I want to find out why my button from inside it's not working!!
Anybody ran into this problem before.
Any ideas, suggestions etc.

I did not have the issue but the button is electronic right? I would start by looking at your fuses and see if the one that controls that switch is blown. Also if it is electric it will have a relay. You could buy a new relay and replace it to see if it works. When you press the button do you hear anything? Or it is completely silent?

It is electric, I checked all fuses they look good. I checked all of the ones under the dash board since I didn't know which one could be.
Do you know the fuse and relay location? Besides the location under the dash board.
I read something about vw. Fuel cap Switch going bad. The location of that switch is in the drivers side door panel. I'm not sure if the same location for
audi TT, do u know?
Im sorry but I don’t. If you can hear the click it might be the relay. Try to find that.
